  • I'm Mike's son and this is definitely his voice.

  • Another fantastic Aussiband. I´m impressed. Unfortunately dominated band from the United Kingdom and the U.S. the music scene during the 60s. Bands from Australia were very rare. Thank God for Youtube! Today it´s possible to listen to wonderful unknown bands from the 60s. Check up, for example, THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Unbelievable.

  • @pungooer

Was Danny Finley drunk? He couldn't be suggesting that Mike mimed to Danny's vocals when they played live,as they did many times.Someone would have noticed.

Danny also managed, and married Colleen Hewett-lucky dog.

  • my second comment but how can you not comment on a song and band like this,so so reminds me of loading up the holden with all your mates and chicks on a saturday night and head out into town with the Radio blasting looking for fun fun fun,and i could always get 6 to 8 people in my car, that was car pooling at its best, and music at its best, just like these boys.

  • "Someday Bay-bay-a-yay .. " .. the remaining song-line requires no further elaboration. What a song ....

  • One of my favs from 65... btw I'm 59..

  • Just listening to an interview at the moment with Danny Finley and he was saying that he was the singer of this song and Mike Brady just mimed it ? Brady found the song and did the arranging. Apparently there has been a lot of tension between the two of them over Danny Finley admitting that he was the real singer.Danny Finley went on to manage Johnny Farnham for some time.

  • very sauve mike

  • Just love this, it´s fantastic.

  • hey peeps =] pete watson is my late uncle and its great to know people still love his music. THANKS =]

  • @TheFinalContact

Are there any film clips of the band available?

  • WOW! One of the great tracks from the 60s!

I don't think I've heard it since back then.

They were great days for the infancy of good ol' Aussie rock

  • Thanks for the comments. And barnfresh, I hope that someone can find and post some footage of the band. They would have performed on tv for sure, but whether such tapes still exist is anyone's guess. If anyone has any, please post! Thanks.

  • Thanks for posting such a super MPD Ltd song from the 60`s. I loved this band and still love listening to their songs. They were fantastic.
