LOL everyone? It's more shocking to find another person that even knows RRRR exists, much less is waiting for it. It's taking them ages for a game that doesn't even look on par with most of the racing games on Reflexive Arcade, games which didn't take developers half as long.
It's not so much the game itself that's the issue, rather the folly of choosing it as the premier game over Age of the Beast which had much more interest when announced. It's painfully obvious Senile Team is losing interest in programming as RRRR is taking forever - and quality isn't an excuse because once again, much smoother, technically impressive games have been produced by small indie teams in half the time it's taking them. Thus, Age of the Beast will probably never be.
I think they'll finish it, I remember reading an interview somewhere (that was done this year) that they'll continue on AOTB after RRRR is finished; maybe their progging skills needed some finetuning & they used RRR to get the experience so that AOTB will be an excellent game...hopes...:))
What pisses me of is that they wasted time on that dumb racing game that no one care about in stead of working on this project whome every cares about
What the hell are you talking about??? Everyone is waiting for it. You are clearly basing this only looking at there forum. Do more research before making a statement like this.
i wonder if you can do any spell casting shit like in shadow over mystara. The backrounds look amazing. Id love to play it for sure comeon get this fuker done already so we can play it!
Going to be funny when RRR flops and nobody even remembers this superior game that should have taken the front seat instead. Talk about dropping the ball.
They're still updating, look like they're developing a racing game right now. I always get psyched when I see this preview and then I have to remind myself it'll get done when it gets done...
Cool, you're right! They started (and will finish) RRR before Age of the Beast comes out, so hopefully the "second game" will get release too, eventually. I saw they didn't update for about 4 months, so I worried they had gone the way of so many other promising projects!
Even if they were using sprite edits, that doesn't mean it would never be finished, as beats of rage consisted of nothing BUT sprites from other games, and it was released. Their hopes of releasing it as a commercial GD-ROM product are probably permanently shattered with the discontinuation of that disc format, but they could still release it for free.
looks like something done with the beats of rage open source engine, not to mention the heroes look like a sprite edit of a character from rage of the dragons which might explain why they never finished it
It's a new engine. Sadly, there's no word on progress in the last few months... Senile Team started working on some 2-d racing game and then they suddenly just stopped updating (though their website came back).
Their web page is down, are they still alive? They started working on this car game for awhile, after their self imposed deadline ended. What happened to Age of the Beast? I wanted to buy a copy! Please don't tell me they've given up...!
OPENbor for the Dindoo is F-ing amazing!!! Buy a Dingoo, check out my profile.

RRRR is the definition of fail.

no it isn't; its the definition of plain simple oldschool arcade fun, now why is that a bad thing?
