I watched the whole series today...It took me longer than I care to admit, but I watched them. Amazing. I honestly didn't think I would want to watch past the first one...but the story line was engaging, the acting was impressive, the humour was spot on. I liked how you managed to avoid a total Heath Ledger-a-thon in the interpretation of the Joker (it started out that way, but quickly evolved beyond that). Thanks for a great evenings worth of entertainment :D

I was wary, too...but I gave this guy a chance and glad I did because this series is a treat. He isn't "exactly" like Ledger's Joker. He sort of embodies both Ledger and Hamill and puts in a little something of his own (as actors do) and his performance is SOLID. If you're a fan of Joker or the whole franchise of Batman (comics, films, tv and all), do yourself a favour and watch this series

Well, at the beginning they made him wash it off, so he used shoe polish for the eyes, some powdery stuff from crane, and for the smile he bit a guys finger off and used that. They then let him put on this regular make-up. So pretty much, he scared them to give him his privilege to wear the make-up.

I think it's funny that all these people seem to think Heath did his own damn make up, or even came up with it. So, even if they were mimicking The Dark Knight", They certainly wouldn't be ripping off Heath Ledger by using the same sort of make up. Also, They have been using the same general layout for the Joker's make up since the Batman #1 Spring 1940.
