  • @ceridwengwyon thank you!

  • Realy amazing :)

I'm wondering how much of the final painting you had in your mind when you started, was it all planed before or on the go. Did you do sketches?

  • @Nofatar Thanks!

I just had a generic idea about the composition and the subject, all my speedpaintings are pretty much improvisations. I didn`t do any sketches, this is the sketch. :)

I mean it has everything established, but from this point it would need about 8-15 hours to correct all the faults (perspective, composition, lighting) and make a fully detailed really kick-ass hi-res illustration.

  • wow.. amzing art :D... did u have any suggestion how i can coloring my black and white painting? i use my color brush,,, but the color look weird when i painted on a human face O___O..can u help me with my problem?

  • @hrsllidra After you finished your b&w base painting, create a new layer in `color` mode instead of using your brush. Just paint the colors you want on that layer, but try to keep your colors below 50% of saturation (the use HSB color sliders makes this quite easy), because its really easy to oversaturate your image. After this try out various touch ups with other layer modes, like `overlay` or `soft light`, but be careful, because they could also alter the values of your painting.

  • How is it you do the horizon lines in photoshop?

  • @Vega9211 Not sure what you mean to be honest... Are you talking about the straight horizontal lines? If yes, thats easy: simply hold down Shift when using the brush.

  • thank you for sharing, what resolution do you paint at?

  • @deadpeoplejuice Usually I paint these 4-5000px wide max to avoid lags in Ps. In my professional works this can go up till 8-12000px depending on the final usage of the artwork.

  • Great work, as allways... :) :D

  • @nagualraven Cheers buddy! ;)

  • I like so much, great work!

  • @Nahelus Thanks! I am glad you like it. :)
