this particular piece is track 9 on the album "From Spain To Spain" by the multicultural music project VOX which has been run by Bulgarian-based German musician Vladimir Ivanoff.
see here: w w w.erdenklang.de/media/en/FROM_SPAIN_TO_SPAIN.html
it's an amazing album connecting the different musical and cultural influences that took part in the south of spain during the centuries. I like it a lot.
I am sorry but this doesn't sound good. Trying to change an original muwascha7 into something more modern doesnt serve it well especially when its done this way. Please leave this to the masters to sing.
realy the real sund not like this but i want to say think alandalus was great plase but ther kings they dont save it at all they was seting near the girls only and drinking but maroco save it so many times
@MrTarab who are the masters with all respect please ? and who decided they are the masters ? the masters are those who make our hearts and souls move, and Fadia is an angel's voice transmitting perfectly the contents of the muwashah. she's a master therefore. respectfuly.
@MrTarab Modern Man cannot be the same as his ancestors, nor have the same ear as them, and ... were you there then or did you hear the first original in order to compare ?? what are your references sir ? my references are beauty, harmony, marvelous voice of Fadia el Hage, and my musical ear. What was born to be eternal is eternal because new generations keep interpreting it THEIR WAY.
Fadia is Master with her perfect ear, voice, feeling and magic beauty.
@MrTarab I like this version a lot. It is beautiful.
I understand your nostalgy, but you have to keep up with the times, nothing stays the same, so is the world, so is music. Then, it is always better for young people to listen to this music than american ghetto hip-hop, you see what I mean... peace
my teacher gave me a CD by a lebanon singer in 2001. It was beautiful. It was the lebanese version of Enya. This may sound like a stretch but does anyone who the singer may be?
