to be fair they are saying how people should seak people to teach in the correct way i can bet money thats not how they learnt and its not the best way, people should descover movements theirselfs im not saying people carnt teach i do belive however the best way is by learining yourselfs, its how it started and its how it should carry on

Nobody really invented Parkour . David Belle got the idea to develop to the maximum this kind of movement that has ever existed in a more or less primitive way . He did it with the Yamakasi group ( together ) when he belongs to them . He quit the group and called it "PARKOUR" . The only reason why it is often said that David Belle invented Parkour is that without him ,without his idea to develop this kind of movement , nobody in the world would be here to talk about it .

@lun471k2 David Belle is not the only founder dude. They were a family. The firsts from Yamakasi are the founders, that's it.

So we can count Yann Hnautra, Chau Belle, David Belle, Laurent Piemontesi, Sébastien Foucan, Guylain N'Guba Boyeke, Charles Perriere, Malik Diouf and Williams Belle.

its more like gymnastics and spots with disipline I think it kinda takes the freedom from it

The movement itself is the freedom. Learning how to move without hurting yourself; learning how to teach others to do the same is the freedom. When you know the movements, you can train for flash. Throw a gainer or a side semi after you've learned how to control your landings. If anything, certification just enables the continued growth of the sport. And, that leads to a higher standard of knowledge, then more possibility for freedom.

True..but i feel sorry for those who will enroll in classes and such..even though it's a lot more dangerous..The experince i personally have recived from teaching myself..cant compare..i feel so much more free knowing i can learn wwhat i like.train how i like with no one to tell me this is wrong,if parkour classes evolve into something like martial arts..this freedom could disapear

they don't enroll in classes to "learn" parkour, that is impossible. they do it to be introduced to parkour. to learn the correct techniques to be able to practice the discipline safely. and to learn the philosophy and history behind parkour.
