Im 15, only surfed forreal once in my life. Im starting there, i went to cape hatteras 3 weeks ago, the waves were like neck high for me, and im like 6 foot. All i got to say is, the cape is rough, like the best waves on the east coast.

Unfortunately June is the worst time of year for surf here. Go south of the Oregon Inlet bridge if you want to find a wave.

Its a south facing beach, opposed to being a east facer. This allows the better swell to reach that beach

I live in Western Ny , but always head down in mid August and just love how even in the Southern shores and duck erea, when it's flat in Virginia Beach, theres always a wave in the OBX. I went to Hatterous last year and plan on heading there this year. Don't worry, I won't put a OBX sticker on my car. I see way to many of them up here.
