Ezekiel was given a vision/prophecy by God. He saw a field full of dry bones. This represented the children of Israel's departure from the true God of Israel. They had turned their faces away from God and were worshiping false Gods. Therefore, they were as dead, dry bones with no life. The "becoming as flesh" meant that it was not to late for them. The words of the song explains the days of Elijah and Ezekiel. The days when our Lord communicates directly and gives us signs and wonders. Elijah was raptured and expecting the rapture is how we wait for Jesus to return. Indeed read both they will bless you.

the key message in this song is the fact that Jesus is soon to come for the BLOOD BOUGHT church of the living God...not a doctrine or demnonation....we are His precious children...making ourselves ready for the rapture...the trumphet soon will sound and the dead in Christ shall rise first...then we which are live and remain shall be caught up to be with our LORD...pray for those not yet ready

9/21/08 my only child Melissa was given 1 hr to live at Columbia PresbyHosp Bx NY.Both her lungs were unable to stop bleeding.Drs said that not even a lung transplant would save her. I remember how in the supernatural God used Moses to part the red sea.So I prayed.God in the same supernatural power U gave Moses I ask You to close my daughter's lungs like U did to the red sea.I had a scripture in every IV bottle.She flat line 8 times and was suppose to be brain dead. Drs call it miraculous

@leahbugger Elijah was a prophet of God whom God used during the days when Israelites started serving Baal. So his prophesies were those of proving the power of God to other nations around . God used him to show miracles like he prayed and fire came down from heaven and burnt his offering while the priests of the idol gods still had their own sacrifice on their alter. there was a drought and he prayed and God sent rain, He went to heaven without dying.

The Lord revealed His salvation to me through a Christian television Network, It was a glorious encounter and at the time I didn't understand. And over the years I was not in fellowship with other believers so i kept sinning and then when I got involved in drugs, my Lord drew me to Him powerfully with a message about His judgment because He had revealed that to me in my heart. Behold He will come in the clouds. Let us abide in Jesus Christ so that when He comes, we will boldly rejoice!!!!

@fortvalleystate well Elijah and Ezekiel were men of the bible in the old testament so i am asuming that the song is saying that we are in there days kind of like when someone says we are in the days of war or we are in the days of happiness i think they are saying right now the way we are living as christians is just like the days/time that Elijah and Ezekiel were living best thing to do is read about Elijah and Ezekiel in the bible and see how it relates to us as christians :)

@kiekie84 I think as well the reference would be to the fact that old testiment prophecy said that the Lord would send the spirit of Elijah before the coming of the Lord. The Jews still believe this. Jesus said that John the Baptist was a type of Elijah (perparing the way of the Lord by preaching repentance from sin and returning the people to God

@kiekie84 Elijah and Eziekel were prophets. They propheted the comeing of Jesus in the world. Christians believe that Jesus was God's son on earth and that he brings salvation to those who believe in His name. Since Elijah and Eziekel not only proheted his coming, but also said things about what the world will look like when the Kingdom of God reigns on earth, it must be a good thing.

The "Days of Elijah" means something very specific. Elijah was but one of the prophets sent by God to foretell of the eventual return of Christ as Lord. Elijah told of those days, the days of "great trial" before Christ returns. We, like the ancient people before us to whom Elijah spoke, are still waiting for the return of Christ. We are still in "great trial of famine and darkness and sword." This song reminds us that the coming of Christ is ever nearer and that we should not lose faith.

@fortvalleystate Elijah was to come again before the Messiah, to proclaim Him and make ready his Path. Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:13,14 that John the Baptist was the Elijah to come. The Job of this 'Elijah' was to proclaim the Lord's coming, in the Incarnation of Christ. We now live in the Days of Elijah, proclaiming his Glorious Return. Thats the meaning of this song, that we are Christ Messengers to the World, making the way for His Return!

@fortvalleystate It also refers to the prophecy of John the Baptist coming to prepare the way for the Messiah. Jesus came 2000 years ago, and now we are awaiting his return again. So in essence, once again these are the days of Elijah and we are preparing for his return like laborers in the vineyard. Out of Zion's hill salvation comes!

@fortvalleystate ;Days of Ezekiel"(dry bones are becoming as flesh):God told prophet Ezekiel to prophesy to the dead bones{EZK37}..this ultimately indicate that Jesus Christ is the ressurection and the Life..just as He brought Life to the dead bones, so by the Holy Spirit in these last days, He is saving every lost souls. Those who are dead in sin, God is forgiving and bringing back to Life again in Him; Hope is restored

@fortvalleystate Elijah (and Ezekiel) were prophets in Israel and you will find them in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible. In the New Testament Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) you'll find they are both coming to testify of Jesus in the last days.

Ezekiel was given a vision/prophecy by God. He saw a field full of dry bones. This represented the children of Israel's departure from the true God of Israel. They had turned their faces away from God and were worshiping false Gods. Therefore, they were as dead, dry bones with no life. The "becoming as flesh" meant that it was not to late for them. If they turned back to God, even though they had become dead and dry like the bones in his vision, He would make them alive again in Him. God bless!!

It is a reference to Malachi 4:5-6.
"Lo, I will send you the prophet Elijah before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes.
He will turn the hearts of parents to their children and the hearts of children to their parents, so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse." (Mal 4:5-6 NRS)
The prophesy is that a precursor ("Elijah") to the Messiah would come to prepare the hearts of the people for the renewal that God would bring through the Messiah.

So the song is basically saying that we are living in similar circumstances as Elijah and Ezekial, awaiting the coming of the Lord. Except now we await his second coming.

@fortvalleystate Elijah was one of the most important prophets in the Old Testament who spoke God's word to the people. The song says "These are the Days of Elijah, declaring the word of the LORD" meaning we should be spreading God's truth like Elijah. Ezekiel was also a prophet who saw a vision of bones coming back to life and dancing around. Its a little more complicated to explain this one but basically it means God renews us and gives us new life.

Jews provide a place at the Seder meal for Elijah. Ezekiel prophesied the dry bones being restored which was the restoration of Israel. We are truly in the Days of Elijah!!!
