This is about 75bpm, which is slow (my band plays it at 86-90) but does let the expression be clear. It starts "\grg a4 \taor a8. b16 \dblc c8" in lilypond notation. Many bands don't play the taorluath properly, and play "\grg a4 \taor a8 b8 \dblc c8" which is wrong. This band plays it properly.
As for marching, it would be like marching to a slow air.

Playing at that slow speed only brings out the proper notes being played without crossovers and squeeks..but I'd hate to try marching to it~~~

Does it get any slower? These are 4/4 marches - right?
