Well, if everyone here listens to all four versions, each has a unique arrangement and style of song. I agree with someone else who said this song should be one of sadness and despair, and En Vogue's version did take away from that part. But it's still my favorite version because of the arrangement and harmony these ladies ALWAYS possess. THE BEST FEMALE GROUP EVER!
YESTERDAY is the most covered song in music history. written by THE GREATEST SONG WRITING DUO IN HISTORY. I love EN VOGUE 'S version with cindy herron on lead voacals.
Anyone know where i can get that beatles version of yesterday at the start?? i've searched everywhere for it, i think it's a rehearsal, anyone know????
@SexualTourettes I don't know if you ever found it but it is from their Anthology. It took two takes and that is from one of them that Paul messed up the words when recording.
I like all 4 versions. My favorite in En Vogues though because I can sing it. Awesome showing how the song evolved/got remade. People would be surprised at how many songs they love were popular in the 40-70's.

Envogue kind of took away the feel of the song, and made it really happy. Macca did it best.

I like yesterday I think Flo and the beatles did the best versions
Flo did it very soulful I think she is the best on "oh holy night" or "love ain't love" as example =D
love this mix 5*

Woo I love my girl Flo's version. So much pain in her voice. Certainly not her best vocally but so heart-felt, RIP Flo, the real Effie White.

I love EV's the best. They did something original. BIIM did their thang too. Them and EV are the two best groups of the 90's!!! Love them.
