@weeyin1155 The most popular that I remember was Andy Stewart do you remember that elvis song that I wrote it was andy stewarts musical director that put the music together for me, I remember mr McKellar and Jimmy Shand too, what do they do nowadays on New years eve do they still do the same kind of Scottish themed nights?

They now have Hogmanay Live from Edinburgh Castle David. It's normally hosted be Jackie Bird and one or two guests. There's a massive street party stretching the length of Pinces Street under the castle. There's the bells and the usual firework display and never seems to be any trouble. The crowds must be frozen, but they all have a great time. They go from entetainers inside the castle to crowds outside. The theme is still very much Scottish.
