  • very cool, theblackattack! Thanks for sharing that experience and don't hesitate to email us if you have any questions.

  • I've been suffering from severe lower back pain for the past couple weeks or so. Tried these few exercises and I feel great! Thanks team Egoscue!

  • hi ce3jay, not a 'noob' question at all. Is the spasm in your low or mid back? Here's what I'd do as a test: do the exercises we show in this video, then at the end, get back into static back and do that for another 5-10 minutes. Make sure your low back is settled into the ground. Then see how that feels. If it still hurts, feel free to email me and I'll give you some other suggestions.

  • After a back spasm, would being in a Static back position help relieve pain? Sorry for a noob question, im still learning about back exercises. Thanks in advanced.

  • Is that because of pain or weakness? Can you normally get on and off the floor? Email me at rickATegoscueDOTcom and I'm happy to help you in more detail.

  • What if I can't get up after doing these?

  • Just being in that Static back position for a while is great I find.

  • @mala265 absolutely! You can get down into that position and just relax there for 10-30 minutes, it's a powerful position. Puts the hips, spine, shoulders and head back on the same plane where they belong and let's tight muscles release. enjoy!

  • There are a lot of videos on YouTube about lower back pain, and all other back pain as well. I want to say as a patient that if you haven't tried the Escogue method, you should. The exercises are so easy and your pain leaves so quickly it truly feels like a miracle, particularly if you've tried other exercise programs for lower back pain to no avail. Thank you Rick and team.

  • Rick here from the Austin clinic. If SuperG0alie or anyone else has questions either about these ecises or back pain in general, we invite you to email us at austin@egoscue.com, we're happy to help. And thanks to ArnyGee for the clarification!

  • There are 3, watch again.

  • I count 2 exercises shown in the video, not 3.....please advise on the 3rd excercise as I am keen to try all three

  • @SuperG0alie The first exercise is Static Back, the second one is Static Back Pull Overs, third is the pillow squeeze.

  • @ArnyGee

    Gotcha...thanks :)

  • @SuperG0alie buy the book cheap ass

  • Thanks guys. Going to try this. Was recommended to me by my massage therapist.

  • try it.....it works!
