It's Aussie engineering, but American design. Engineering always follows design, and usually design has the last word. For all the work involved in engineering, really it can be thought of as working out the nuts and bolts of what the designers want. I'm sure that many engineers wince at this, but this is how it works. Besides, the Aussies do great work, I can assure you of that!
