  • I like canada great people up there, my sister lives in Calgary she told me she will never move back here because of Washingtons bullsh*t and all the enemies we have made around the world..im glad for her not all americans are warmongers..most of us want to live in peace but when u have a corrupt government like we have it really doesnt matter who we vote for to be in the whitehouse because nothing will change..

  • i was going to vote for Canada, but then South Park told me it's all their fault, so i took back my vote.

  • I saw this and instantly went, "Mattie for president? Fuck yeah!"

C'mon, some of you have to have thought that too!

  • really, this made the news in the US... HAHA it's a joke & it seem some aren't getting it.

  • woooooooooooooooooI love Canada so much! :)

  • HAHAHA!! A Mare Usqué Ad Mare!! Big salute to my American friends, from a proud Canadian!

  • @caporalchef4 Really, if the pole shifts 40% like some say it will at the end of this year and, as a result Canada becomes a lot warmer, could I apply for Canadian citizenship? I have enough money to more than take care of myself. I have references. To tell you the truth, once I got in, I would support tougher immigration laws from, you know, south of the border.

  • @dnsmithnc Come on over, buddy. I'll greet you with oppen arms, as long as you fish, hunt, love hockey, drink lots of beer and above all if you're not an Islamofascist. ;-)

  • @dnsmithnc Canadian citizenship is incredibly hard to obtain nowadays without an amazing education or an amazing position waiting for you. Even the cab drivers who have just immigrated to Canada have at least bachelors level law and medical degrees.

I've heard that if you enter on an international scholarship program, you're set. Some Asian countries like Pakistan actually try to persuade students on it's scholarships to Canada to return home because they usually stay in Canada perm

  • @SpoonHysteria I think that is a good thing that Canada's immigragion policy is so restrictive. For me it would be much more disappointing thatI couldn't get in except for those Canadian winters. However, if the Earth changes its tilt the way some doomsdayers say it will later on this year, then southern Canada will have a climate something like Florida's. Then, I'll be there at your border knocking to get in waving money and my college degrees.

  • lol

    ISN'T THAT RIGHT BUDDY?

  • championship...FRISBEE? there's money in that??

  • U-becky becky becky becky stan stan- lol!

  • First, as a Canadian, I should declare my bias. Thus declared, here's what more we'd have to offer:

Power skating lessons so you'll improve at hockey.

Blackberrys at bargain basement prices ... oops, that's already happening.

    Poverty with a smiley face.

    Tonnes more snow.

You'll have to learn Canadian English spelling and do a course in grade 10 French.

And we'll promise to ship our garbage elsewhere.

  • canadians think this is amusing because (as they even admit) no one cares about them (need some kind of attention). i get it, it must suck when people assume you're american and give no recognition to your country unless you tell them. i never see canadian politics take the world stage, such exciting goings on in parliament! i'm sick of people pushing us around. hate our policies? learn to love it because we don't win wars with bombs, we win it with Hollywood and Starbucks. i <3 my country.

  • @junge1984 LOL Hollywood and Starbucks are both American.

  • @junge1984 that's why, when you travel, you have to put a Canadian flag on your luggage and clothing.

  • @junge1984 I does suck when people from other countries assume we're American. That's why we wear Canadian flag patches on our backpacks when we travel. A lot of Americans do the same. Are you aware of this?

  • @Blackbirdisms No, I wasn't aware of the patch thing. It sounds like a great idea. In fact, I would love to move to your country and become a proper Canadian citizen. That is, if it weren't so damn cold. Go Global Warming! I would then advocate the building of a big nuclear strike proof wall along the border. At the very least, I would point to this country as what NOT to do in a number of different areas. One would be for us, Canadians, to mind our own damn business in foreign affairs

  • @junge1984 man u are one hell of an idiot. canada is always on the world stage of politics. the reason why there isnt mass media coverage is because the media tends to concentrate on countries who are fucking this planet in the worst way possible. IE the US.

  • This was funny. I hope Americans take it in the spirit it was meant. We love to satire our politicians up here.

  • @Christine5000 If only it were true. I would vote for Canada in a heartbeat.

  • Who's the reporter for this Canada story? Oh. Right. It's Jeanne Moose...err..Moos.

  • @torontobites1 see the thing is, who the hell wants to invade canada? everyone in the world loves canada and canadians...we don't really need protection from the US. if anything, having the US so close to us makes us vulnerable to the consequences of their multiple fuck ups

  • @constasio - Sure, we have some pretty weak Rep. presidential contenders right now but if it wasn't for the US, Canada and the rest of the western hemi would be speaking Japanese today. We have our share of f-ups only because we step up as being world leaders and influencers more often as opposed to being Britain's little tag along with no real national identity.

  • @johnca45 i don't know where you get this whole "britain's little tag along" and that "we have no real national identity". do you usually speak out of ignorance? just because we have a link to britain via our "head of state", this doesnt mean they dictate our politics, or our national identity. It is a symbolic position which rarely exerts any type of influence except 1 time in our history. If you had ever been to canada, you would know that we have one hell of a sense of identity.

  • @constasio - I worked on cruise ships for many years in an international environment where it was envogue to hate Americans. While some Canadians were my friends, there were others like you who looked down their noses at us and thinking they're morally superior. Try winning a world war(w/out piggy-backing on the British military) ,taking out a terrorist like bin Laden, or being an economic/military super-power than maybe you can criticize us.

  • @johnca45 Lighten up! This is supposed to be humour.

  • @johnca45 what world war did you win? Please dont tell me you are under the mistaken belief that you "won" the WWII? You, plus the allies, British, Canadian, french, austrailian, and many more.

  • @Christine5000 To me, the UK won WW2. America truly died when they bombed Japan. So no, we haven't won anything.

  • @johnca45 1) we are an economic super power. in fact, canada's economy is thriving while the us is trillions of dollars in debt. 2) taking out a terrorist like bin laden? may i remind you that that mission almost failed when one of the helicopters crashed. 3) try winning a world war without piggy backing on the british military? you clearly dont know your history. we joined ww2 independent of what Britain wanted. In fact, we joined the war before america while america avoiding it. idiot

  • @constasio You're right. Canada does not need protection from the U.S. But, I predict you will need protection because of the U.S.

  • @constasio True

  • @constasio spot on man. Europeans instantly classify us as American followers, however we differ vastly from our southern neighbours.

  • Canada should be skeptical of America's future. The presidential race is horrible. I love their video.

  • Jeanne Moos, why did you waste maple syrup like that? You do know there are people starving to death in our world and your just wasting food? Shame on you!

  • @bw2182 even if she ate it and didn't waste it it still wouldn't help anyone starving.

  • Proud Canadian Here. Just want to point out to my fellow Canucks that this here is a waste, these guys aren't even funny? 2:38 I will never get back..

  • @SWOMARK So, the rumor that Canadians don't have a sense of humor is true. Really, this was funny. Maybe more so to those citizens of the U.S. who are honest with themselves and realize this country has profound problems in a number of different areas that if not fixed soon are going to lead to an economic and societal collapse. I don't see much hope of that happening. I think it might be an idea to see if I can't get dual citizenship, Canadian and U.S.. Just thinking out loud.

  • Than you would have an actual good president since I haven't seen a good president in the US in at least two presidents though Obama is worlds better than Bush.

  • @lothar71 Doesn’t make much difference who we elect as president. Representatives realize that the amount of money used in a campaign is the best predictor of election results. Lobbyist are continuously roaming the halls of congress ready it to give them for favorable legislation. Voters are just electing the next puppet for the special interests. We live in an autocracy where the rich rule, not a democracy. Major campaign finance reform is the best way to give power back to the people

  • If this means we get Canada's health care system you got my vote.

  • This is just too funny. I love it!!! :)

  • Cool, that does that mean Canadians can vote for an American president?

  • @gtrefghuk

    No its a spoof.

They cant run for high level goverment jobs in the USA. U have to be born in the USA to run for president and thats just one of the qualifications. Both of them were born in Canada.

Nor would the Canadian goverment be so foolish as to think they could come in and take over.

    They're mocking us.

And though some find it in good humor i know a lot of Americans who arent taking to kindly to his videos.

This guy might get himself in deep.

  • @TiggerMusica Boy, you have a talent for recognizing the obvious. However, there is a lot of truth in this "spoof". The candidates for president scare the shit out of me as well. And even if we were to elect the very best person available for president, there is not much he or she could do. The way that campaigns are financed forces legislaters to be beholden to special interests groups. We don't live in a democracy. All we do is vote for the next puppet of the rich.

  • @dnsmithnc

Lol, I stated the obvious because someone asked it. As I recall I didn’t give my opinion. To prove or debunk anything the vid said. So if that’s your opinion fine. But when you come at someone like that- who has said nothing but simple fact- you look like a smart ass. A troll trying to start a fight. And here is some food for thought, If you don’t like how the gov. works TRY and do something about it before you start whining. Your only a true puppet if you lay down and accept it.

  • @TiggerMusica My apologies. But, there are those who point out or, restate the obvious because they have nothing else to contribute. That aside, how do you know that I haven't done anything about "it"? Doing something about "it" would include raising awareness how the present system of campaign financing works or fails. Addressing this breach of our democratic system appears to be the best means of bringing power back to the people where it belongs. Now, on to your accusation of whining.

  • @TiggerMusica I wouldn’t have responded now except for your accusation of whining. Whining is a feeble, high pitched cry for merciful treatment by one’s perceived superiors. It is often devoid of logical or valid reasons why such treatment should be granted. It has recently been identified as a programmed response by feminists to the men’s movement despite the logic, manner or, legitimacy of men’s complaints and how they were delivered. I take offense at the word whenever it is misused as such.

  • @dnsmithnc I believe you misinterpreted that. I meant do something outside of the internet. You’re not going to get many ppl to listen here. The wasted time and words falls on deaf ears more often than not. Start a group, go to debates. But your not going to go far chewing a person out on youtube- you should know this. And finally, whining also means to peevishly complain about something/someone. The reference is straight from the dictionary.

  • @TiggerMusica And peevish means easily annoyed by unimportant things. I don't think that the issue of campaign financing, in that it is a major factor that has led to a huge power gap between the rich and the poor, is unimportant. In regard to what you meant by doing something about "it", again, how do you know that I haven't done these things of which you speak. Secondly, where specifically have I "chewed" you out. Again, you appear to be assigning an emotional response to logic.

  • @TiggerMusica In addition, I do seem to have a problem with "misinterpreting" your meaning. Do you have this problem a lot generally? Secondly, I do believe that arguments and facts presented on the interenet can have a positive and informative impact if presented calmly and reasonably. They certainly have for me in helping me to establish my position, refining my arguments, and providing new sources of information. It does this for many more people than you might want to believe.

  • @dnsmithnc

Peevish simply means irritable. It doesn’t have to be about minor subjects. I tend to get my message across clear. If you have done something else why have you not confirmed it yet? And yes you lunge for the throat. The proof is in how this conversation started; and how everything you say seems to come off as a double edged sword. Also I never said debating via internet wasn’t helpful, I just said the chances of you swaying a country with a youtube post is very slim to none.

  • @TiggerMusica Quoting you,“If you don’t like how the gov. works TRY and do something about it before you start whining.” I asked how do you know I haven’t? After you dodged my evidence as to the usefulness of the internet you wrote, “If you have done something else (ie outside the internet) why have you not confirmed it yet?” My question is, why should I feel obligated to disprove your accusations which are based upon no evidence whatsoever? Your question is a feeble attempt at distraction.

  • @TiggerMusica Wrong again. Peevish means easily irritated, not irritable. You claim your messages are clear. Quoting you, “If you don’t like how the gov. works TRY and do something about it before you start whining.” I answered by pointing out the benefit of the internet for bringing awareness to the problem. Your response, “I believe you misinterpreted that. I meant do something outside of the internet.” No where in the comment to which I responded did you exclude the internet. No where

  • @TiggerMusica Now that I have addressed your comments repeatedly, answer me one question. What is your definition of “whining”? Let us have a little online debate on this word which has been aimed at men repeatedly whenever they protest against legitimate examples of misandry. Let’s see if you can stick to one topic instead of roaming all over the place. After we have debated it’s meaning then, I’ll be glad to move on to any other subjects you wish. Lets see if you can do it.

  • @TiggerMusica In addition, I do seem to have a problem with "misinterpreting" your meaning. Do you have this problem generally? Secondly, I do believe that arguments and facts presented on the interenet can have a positive and informative impact if presented calmly and reasonably. They certainly have for me in helping me to establish my position, refining my arguments, and providing new sources of information. It does this for many more people than you might want to believe.

  • @gtrefghuk

    Part 2

Oh, and on the voting thats a no as well. U have to be a citizen of America for a number of years before u can vote- and there are other laws to voting. His partner should be able to vote. But only on the American People running.

  • If the US were just southern Canada as Grende commented we wouldn't even be Canada now. We'd have been invaded long ago by someone with a working military. I think we should remember that the US helps protect our borders, we certainly can't do it ourselves.

  • @torontobites1 Baaaaloney. There are a lot of countries with next to no military that haven't been invaded. In addition, we spend more on the military than any other nation by far. Five times the amount of China the next on the list. We are like 5th are far as a percentage of our huge GDP. Canada comes in at a respectable 13th in the world as far as military spending. We don't need to spend nearly as much to be secure especially if we start minding our own damn business as Ron Paul says.

  • Are u just going to keep talking?? No, but I will...LMAO!

  • @dontblameme100 That section was good. And Cain making fun of all those -ekistan nations. It's insane that he could get as far as he did and be that stupid.

  • @all of you arguing over his citizenship. Dual Citizenship.

  • If America were just Southern Canada, the world would be better.

  • @grendel2900 And we'd all being speaking Japanese!

  • @johnca45 Watashi wa Galen desu.

  • @grendel2900 Yeah, everyone talks about us being the 51st state but it's much cooler to refer to the US as the 11th province. ;-)

  • The guy who made this was a Canadian born citizen who came to America.

  • @Camel76 It clearly says the guy was an American citizen.

  • @JollyJaneVoorhees

No, he was born in Canada. He came to America and became a citizen.

  • @JollyJaneVoorhees And you believe everything you hear on CNN?

  • @Blackbirdisms Did I some how say that I believed everything I heard? No, I simply said that was what was stated. I am pretty sure she researches her facts. If not and they are wrong bring that up with her cause frankly darling, I dont give a damn.

  • Love these guys, love the concept!! Go Canada!!! LOL!!!

  • so much for a smaller government

  • Funny as hell and, with a lot more truth to it than many here would like to admit. And yeah fellas, our presidential candidates scare the shit out of us too. At least those of us who have a little sense. Also, with a house on fire next door, there is a good chance it will set your house on fire too.

  • support Ron Paul, we don't need that many people

  • Haha this is NOT an invasion, this is an INTERVENTION. lol We are here to hose Americans!!! lmao

  • i agree

  • Oh wow...this is really funny. I love you, Canadians. And yes, your sister America needs some guidance. Bad men have taken control of her lol. :)

  • @atemsdestinee93 It might be better if Canada petitioned for guardianship. Ehh?

  • @atemsdestinee93 Yeah, she has been selling herself to rich guys, getting drunk and fighting with those who haven't done anything to her. She's out of control and needs a firm hand.

  • ha ha good joke seriously RUSSIA would be better because PALIN will choke RUSSIA-POLAND for the WHITE HOUSE both out of CHICAGO I want the FAR RIGHT to burn In HELL.
