I'm here to stay, heck hope both of the above stay, they do very good stuff. With the camera possibly yes. Going to try out a few models in my local camera shop, that i've seen. Cheers.
What a great little camera. Great quality, and well worth it. Mine is the Canon Powershot A630 flip, and have had it for about 3 years now, and is still working a beauty. When it does pack up, then I will look out for a better resolution and quality one. But I wish the best for your new find!
Yes, it's a ( well was) a great 2nd camera to back up the DSLR. Browsing the camera shop site's the choice is overwhelming. Many thanks for kind comment. Got two camera's in mind at the moment. Kind regards.
Yea, I have it to back-up my Pentax K100d super, and it does the job! You've got me searching for a backup for mine! lol Can't wait for another update on the layout! PS: Where did you get your Grand Central HST tourist carriage from? Thanks!
I remember seeing at YT a Mock the week show with Russell Howard giving his stand up comedy and one part seems to fit here: they buried his dog, and at one time during this somber moment, his mum asks if anybody would like to say something; and his dad says 'woooof wooooof ' etc :)
I'll stick to some one like Jessops, Jacobs, warehouse express etc. Amazing to see how a lot of folk are now using the compacts for videoing. Wonder if the video camera's become more less popular as the quality etc improves on the compact's for videoing??
Hi, its a shame about the camera. Its served the cause well. I use a pro video camera, but I use it for a lot of other things bar trains. My compact that i take every where is a canon G10 and so far has been great. I am saving up to get a Nikon D5000, as I used to have a Nikon D700 but sold it to fund the camcorder, but miss the DSLR funtions.
It's intresting to find out what our fellow YT'ers are using for their videos. D700 very nice. That D5000 looks a very good buy, mind you i see the D300S looks very good. I think the beauty of the compacts is that they can fit in your pocket etc, & great for doing a quick video etc. With the DSLR's i wouldn't be with out one. Still getting through th guide book for mine. Cheers.
if it's to expensive to repair just buy the same make and model if it lasted you that long, lasted longer than mine, mine only lasted 6 weeks, i thought nothing would break it but of all things at was that old fogie,
i dunno one day ill find him and put his camera where the sun don't shine
MMM.... that doesn't sound to good, may be worth taking it back & getting it checked out. Mind you this camera you see here has had some right hammer, & is now nearly 3 years old. Was expecting it to last a lot longer like, though. Cheers.
yeah well when I was reaserching cameras it said that the TZ7 had a good aluminium shell that could take a bit of a bashing. And my camera has a 1 year garentee so I
yeah, though my canon DC201 camcorder being a camcorder is much nicer ti flm with and hold but really DVDs are un editable so I am in the long run going to get a Sony HD camcoder that recoords onto and SD card
i would go for a canon, my one has lasted me ages, and lots of Heat, lack of heat water and other stuff as well as the bashing it gets from going out but it still works a treat. But it entirely up to you.
Yes, it was the main one that i used. Mind you it's had some right hammer with the amount of use it's had. Can't complain really. Time to check out a replacement, i guess. Cheers.
