okay, every vampire story is DIFFERENT!

hance the emphasis on that word. in some stories they have no reflection in others they do. maybe if you read the book you will see the part with Bella reeling off a list of "Facts" on vampires and Edward dismissing them all as myth. who's to say the reflection thing isn't a myth as well. you should pay more attention.

Read the book, and then learn to spell.

what stephenia meyer did was basically re-invent the vampire. her vampires show up in mirrors and photos, dont have fangs, can go into the sunlight, and can survive on animal blood. they are vampires, they are just a different spin on vampirism.

He's not flying, it's an exageration of his speed; if you watch the full scene of when Bella goes tot he Cullen home (youtube search 'Twilight 8 minutes') he jumps out the window and like grabs onto a tree once they're outside; then it goes from there of them running through the forest and having a romantic moment in the tree; then it jumps back to the house and Edward is playing Bella's lullaby for her :3

I have watched the full scene...but I'm sorry not at all in any of the books does it have them scaling trees... like what is that? Also in the scene where Bella and James are in the dance studio Edward just jumps up and "flys" to a window, that never happens either. I mean I know they are fast but come on also James totally flies over Bella's head in that part. That doesn't happen either. They are not flying monkeys. They are Vampires. They should have made it more accurate to the actual books.

THat's just it though, they're not flying, they're jumping. Physically, their strength, speed, etc. is about 200 times that of a humans'. I'm sure if your muscle strength was 200 times everyone else's you'd jump pretty far and high too. And what part where Edward jumps through a window? O.o

ok wow it's obvious that the movie isn't going to be exactly like the book. They needed to include more to make it more interesting. If you just see rob running around on the ground, that would be kind of boring cuz he does that throughout the whole movie repeatedly. to add more of a thematic element they decide to pan out and give a better, dramatic display of his powers and how strong he is. one difference isn't going to screw up the whole thing. be thankful they're even making a movie.
