  • Hello from New Zealand.

Today we held a National memorial service for our 29 miners killed in the Pike River mine disaster 2 weeks ago on 19 Nov. Our little town has been devastated by this tragedy and our whole country has been in mourning.

We feel your pain and understand it. This is a beautiful tribute for your men.

I will pray that your families have their pain and anguish relieved and I ask that you all pray for our families who have just begun their heartache.

    May God bless you all.

  • @slooob23 Thank you for your comment... and I am deeply saddened to hear that you have also suffered the same loss in New Zealand... I will definitely keep you all in my prayers. May you find comfort in Jesus I pray.. Amen.

    Serena

  • I love that thats a good video but i still miss the miners god bless

  • It takes my breath away just watching this and seeing the men we lost. Its so hard to believe something this horrible could happen so close to home. It scares me everyday knowing that i have family and friends going into mines and not know if they will ever come back. = ( thank you for the video.

  • This video... It's absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this. My whole heart goes out to everyone who lost someone in this accident. I lost my Dad two years ago, just months after I turned 16; He was 34 and he was a miner....It was absolutely devastating...This tribute was absolutely wonderful, and it should make West Virgina proud.

  • my uncle Dewart Scott was killed in that i loved him 2 death

  • If tears could build a stairway,

    And memories a lane,

I'd walk right up to Heaven

    And bring you home again.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

R.I.P to all, "you will all be forever in our thoughts, no memory is left astray, the life you once had may have gone but the memory you leave behind will forever follow me."

  • R.I.P uncle bobby& uncle peewee. god bless you.

  • Support our miners!!!!!!!!!!!!! They make America go.

  • @kooterpoots He was an idiot I deleted his/her comment.. we have no time to read such idiotic garbage.... Like I said in the video... OUTSIDERS WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND OUR WAY OF LIFE!!! I hope and pray the rest of the miners families did not see that comment. So sorry you saw it Ginny.

  • Thank you Serena. This was a wonderful tribute. I grew up in Oceana, my dad worked in the mine for 30 years. I now live in FL, but my heart will always be at home. • i love this

  • Comment removed

  • @RiverMpls I thought I deleted your comment once ALREADY? We really don't need this kind of negativity right now... TWENTY NINE MEN lost their life in that coal mine and if you felt for them and their families you would not make such remarks. I do not appreciate your cursing either... I hope and pray you never have to go through the pain these folks have endured.... THINK before you post.
