Nice setup bro. Alpine get the best sound. I have a similar setup but with 1 type R sub, Type R componet speakers and my head unit is a eonon with 7" DVD player.

I decided to go with Alpine because of the clarity and clean sound you get with them. It hits every note and even some notes that you didnt even know where there. Sealed box is far better when you want quality sound not just loud and distorted sound that you get from other system setup. Great work on that setup man.

Not really. The only real advantage is wiring diagrams. For instance, 2 dual 4 ohm subs wired in parallel to one amp will be at 1 ohm. If your amp isn't 1 ohm stable, you can fry it. So if you wire each sub in parallel to their own amps the amps would be seeing a 2 ohm load.

Well in a way, yes it will be louder. That's simply because you're getting more power at 1 ohm.

If you want 1 amp that is 1 ohm stable, check out the sundown 1000D. Amazing amp for the price, and can take 1 ohm all day.

As far as other ways to wire them, I can help you if you tell me what impedance they are.

Like, 2 dual 4 ohm subs or 2 dual 2 ohm.

Wire each sub in parallel by itself it's own amp, find an amp that will do whatever the rated power for your subs are at 2 ohms;

Or wire each sub together in parallel and find an amp that will do whatever their rated power is combined at 1 ohm;

Wire in series-parallel to an amp that will do their rated power combined at 4 ohms
