@Yaminia1 you have one of these? Cool then try this: take a wet towel (or a sponge), connect it to the "sensors" (those clips thingies) and turn it on. Then watch for some minutes what happens...
That printer is cool, but the brain thinguz is a scam. Works also with a wet towel. Simple psychology. People want to believe that they have "psychic powers", so the thing makes them persuade themselves that they do have them. Do you really think that sensors for brain waves come that cheap?
@jakec916 No, really: it works with a wet towel. So either we should change the way we treat them, cuz towels are conscious beings, or this thing is a scam... you decide! :0)
i honestly just thing when he turns that knob there is air blowing which causes the ball to rise up. I remember a harry potter recipe type of game like this for $12 bucks when I was a kid..
@LifelessBodi There is actually a star wars thing that has a big tube and it has a little ball in it and you "use the force" on it and then your beta waves spin a fan and the fan raises the ball :D
I got the game yesterday...as far as I can tell the techonology does not work. The fan seems to randomly raise/lower the ball at different intervals, despite any conscious concentration/relaxation. I'm VERY dissappointed.
If we really knew hot to use our brains,we could use telepathy or move objects but we only use 10%.The world we live in has programmed n suppressed us from our true power as a human being.
This simple toy we will look back in 2109 and see that this was the beginnning of the next step in our evolution as a species. We will come close to using much more of our brain's full potential.
U have a point, but u can't say that we use our brains to its full potential. We are so much powerfull then we know.Look up these subjects:lucid dreaming,DMT,OBE,astral projection, remote viewing etc.
Well, I can't say that we don't use our brains to its full potential, but can you say that we don't use are brain to its full potential?
About the subjects.
Lucid dreaming: I enjoyed lucid dreaming (the one time I had), I've read a lot about this a few years ago, mostly my bad sleeping habit broke my LD career, but I view it as an unnatural state more than something extraordanary.
I don't know what is DMT, and didn't find anything.
I've read some about OBE and astral projection (it was some time ago, I don't recall, is there any difference?)
The thecniques that made possible to have an OBE experience were very very similar to having LD experience, and I mostly read personal experiences, not even with personal experiments to differentiate it from LD.
Remote viewing is interesting too, right now I know too little about it, but I heard that there are experiments, and clubs where you can join to try yourself out I think.
@OuterSpace23 You can get cancer by stress, which is a type of chemical reaction in your mind caused by certain thoughts and feelings, if you could use 100% of your brain and you got stressed, that would be multiplied by 10 and wouldn't be very good...
And it's not even near proven that telekinetic energy exists, and if it does, it hasn't been proven to be able to do anything physical. These things are scanning your brain, and it's not your thinking that's doing the work, it's how hard you think
@OuterSpace23 dude please tell me your joking 'super soldiers' as in genetically enhanced and the whole psyops and all tht shit? no such thing as a super soldier unless your talking bout, SAS, SEALS, DELTA these are the closest u get to super! peace!
@OuterSpace23 I think that if we spend time doing stuff like this, we could have a slight increase in mind control, from the exercise. But, only in a hundredth of a percent. But, it does help. It would more if there wasn't a fuckin knob on that thing, damn cheaters.
so essentially, you only play 'float the ball' and the unit does the actual game? ie focusing makes it float, doesnt actually move it? the guy should explain more!
'harvests brain activity to move a ball around a course'. the brain thing doesnt move the ball, just turns on the air current. who the F%$K would want one of those?! id rather buy the manicure set!! at least then my nails would look good.
I used to have the harry potter one when i was younger exactly the same with no headset, its like air hockey, thats what the switch is for, whata fake
i dream of a time when you can record these videos and then up load them onto an international database where people from all over the world can view them in their own home!
I remember seeing something similar used for a 3d platform game. It was in the late 90's and looked less bulky than the equipment on this video. It stated that it reads 'brain waves' and can assign a particular wave to an in game action. So a brain wave provoked by the thought of jumping could theoretically be assigned to the in game action of jumping. This was on TV though and probably total bullshit, especially after witnessing this money hungry joker a good ten years later - Bah! Humans!
you did something very similar when you typed your message. your mind moved your hands over the keyboard just like it wanted to ... purely by means of electrical signals running through wires (neurons) connecting the brain and the arm muscles.
the only thing this technology does new is to go wireless. human brain may be one of the most sophisticated machines, but it is only a machine after all running on electrical impulses. It can be tamed.

..e.g. Take eye tracking (where sensors look at trangulate exactly where your eye is looking on a screen and move the pointer there): combine the two, along with blink sensing (left and right clicks) and it'd be a mouse with a scroll wheel.

hehe, Yeah!.i guess its best to just have normal blinks, but use a time limit (eg blink for 2 seconds or more counts, less than that and it ignores it, for obvious reasons).
This technology has been around for a while, and has been experimented with using PCs for that time; We were given lectures on it in the HCI courses in uni. Its a linear form of input, and is a little stressfull to use, wearing you out: Think of it as being as usefull as a mouse made of lead that could only be moved forwards and backwards. Its sensing won't be the future of gaming technology, but its one more variable to control...
Someday maybe.. But the makers of barbie making the next generation of games.. Pfff. dream on mattel. I reckon within the next decade there will be some sort of mind controlled version of video gaming
