@MrRobotalian See, that has nothing to do with the game running on a mac. You can just pay for more ram. Yes, macs are more expensive than your windows, but that has nothing to do with the game being slow on a mac :)

I've got 4gb ram + 2,66 ghz intel i7 and there's no problems at all.

@ReasonerRules Some Redstone components like torches burnout very quickly in old worlds, they also seem to burn out more in the 1.0.0 update. Im sorry to say that there is almost no way to fix it :/, except move the circuit.

@Scavenger341 You have probably put the wire from the monostable circuit to the wrong block, it needs to connect to the side of the block with the redstone torch on it.

The world download doesn't help much because of the weird mod on it, and idk what's wrong i followed the video to the letter but it still doesn't work only the first piston pops up i think my problem is in the underground pulse thing.

@254160 I figured it out actually now i am stuck fighting with the pistons not re-tracting, and they need to put the buttons power feed into the starting piston to get the sequence started. That was my problem n e way just had it going to the wrong piston, when moved, works just fine.

prolly one of the cheaper elevators out there. it worked for me i built one that maybe spans 30 block height with the option to expand it. i must say it's not as pretty as some of the other ones but it works just fine.

This elevator works great but I'm having a problem with it. The one I've made works until I reach a certain point in it where it seams a piston is not pushing me onto the one above. It is activating like it should but it seems to be going straight through me instead of pushing me. The bottom piston also appears to be working fine aswell. I keep rebuilding the section but it keeps happening. Is it just a bug in the game?

@SuchAToole I had the some problem at first, look at 10:03, is your redstone going into the side of the block like he is showing? If the torch there is powering the redstone you put underground it wont work, make it go into the block so it turns off the torch but isn't being powered by it.

Hey man, got a question. Built the elevator, worked perfectly. Then along came notch and his creeper...

Well I've rebuilt the bottom which got blown up and it nearly works again.

The problem: the very first up piston (the one you stand on at the start) won't push up. All subsequent pistons work though. Any idea what I screwed up?

@254160 Hmm, I replaced the repeater that runs above/beside the piston with redstone. Then the first up piston works. Put the repeater back to prevent the timing problem (next up piston activates too soon) and the first up piston stops working again. fml. Is this a glitch or have i screwed up?

@SuchAToole You are missing a redstone torch behind it then, or you dont have the redstone torch underneath the one behind that one, another error people make is putting the wire from the monostable circuit to the the redstone torch itself and not the block [dont connect the wire to the block]
