@TheNehetCZ cause then it wouldnt be a tablet it would be a touch screen laptop which obviously does not work. its uncomfortable and impractical. Apple has already tested a touch screen desktop/laptop and they found it works but it is more of a hassle then a benefit which is why they invented the multi-touch trackpad. to the trackpad will be the closest we get to a "touch" operated laptop/desktop

One thing they improved was the reflection on the glossy screens on the new Macbook Air. On the current Macbook Pro the glossy display it's extremely reflective.

@AndresRoddick1 i can answer this, it is good if youre willing to trade performance for portability, you cant really play games and edit video too smoothly on the macbook air, but you can surf the web, type docs, and carry it with you quite well. hope this helped:D
