a serious economist wouldn't blame recession because that's happened before where sales have increased as the cure. the slump is more likely a cultural exchange based on new information as the status quo becomes more educated about federal reserve and the crooks in government
Where we live the retailers claim that the season was just like last year. I doubt they will make the same claims next year lay offs only recently started to happen. Unless something drastic happens the economy will suffer even more. Ask me it is a opportunity to market a mass war. Hope I am wrong but it has happened b4.
And the powers that make things happen are listening the world is warming. So to them all they need is another war to rid the planet of many millions of people. Unleash a few viruses some more of that depleated uranium some agent orange teach them to smoke tobacco anything to reduce the population. That way they reduce the carbon output the old fashioned way by getting rid of sheeple.

I do not understand this type of story.
Where is the story?
If people are not employed, people do not have money.
If people do not have money, they do not buy consumer goods.

To produce a war of nations, creates lots of jobs at home.
Steel, food, etc...
It's dumb as hell, but war does create jobs.
No doubt, there are better ways to create jobs, like ending war, and increasing productivity in such things like: Energy, Better Cars, etc.
