What a tragic history for a great car manufacturer... Lancia got worse when Fiat take over most of the company in the 20th century, and when i think what's Lancia's true potential, it's just.....sad.

Fortunately, Lancia is somewhat "reborn", with it's upcoming new Stratos. I hope they redesign the ridiculous-new Delta with a much more retronized-old Delta version like they did on the Stratos, because the new one....i don't see any resemblences between both Deltas. It's just....tragic

I'd rather have any Lancia over some boring, utterly characterless Toyota. Lancia like Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Citroen, Renault, Peugeot etc. are emotional brands. These are brands you buy with your heart, not your brain. Plus, these brands have built cars that were stylish (still are) and have made history.

When you buy either a Alfa Romeo or a Citroen (I'm talking about these two in particular because I own both Citroens and one Alfa Romeo), you're buying something with a special character. @Molo9000 personally I wouldn't be too sure about that, But you might be right about the context in which he is talking about the 1.3.

The 'HF', from High Fidelity, from what I understand, began early on as an exclusive club in which its members needed to own a certain number of Lancias to join. Later in the 60's it either developed into, or was readapted, to identify models of Lancia that had been developed for racing. I'm sure I have the accurate definition in a book somewhere. I'll repost.
