I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so Also keeps carbs/injection and tank clean and rustfree!

Screw you! Have you even been in a Montreal?! I happen to OWN one- you have no idea- it practically eats up the road. Why don't you try one out... a little out of your price range?
You know,I'm talking about hard daily use as we did in the 70/80 es in Italy with no speed limits, and this car could not match her main challenger 911/S 2,2 . 2,4 - 2,7 about pure sport perf, and reliability -
Montreal was poorly rated even at AR official
concess.- a good chance vanished because of AR bad managing at the time =
hi dear friend... this one is red too... it is an autodelta version in 3 liters and about 250 ch... some say that the noise of the engine is more lound...

Underrated car.Honestly not cared by the factory.
with a poor rear suspension (non independent wheels)
too heavy body, and an 8 cyl. 200 hp 2500.engine (stock) that provided just good perform.-
More,it was as expensive as a 911/s 2400 and no matching about performance and reliability -
What a pity,it deserved better luck with such a charming design by Bertone coachmaker =

yeah man :D
its boring to have a fast car that doesn't stimulate you aurally :) and the Montreal has character simply because of its flaws
and i doubt that it will have a huge oversteery moment when pushed hard causing you to park in the nearest tree. Backwards :D

to theonewiththenose - I'll be happy to read your reports as a Montreal owner.
Greetings.

@Mastermind - try and express your poor opinions in a polite way,at least.....
P.S. - I can confirm that the Montreal
was rated as a bit of a junk here in Milan
by those AR concessionaries who had them in stock for sale...It could have been
a good car but AR management was already giving up back then, and Montreal
project never had a true development.
