easy. to use most of your Artichoke: wash it, boil it or steam it until soft in a microwave oven (in a double container, double boiler). then puree it in the processor. strain out the pointy thorns and inedible fiber. cook it again with the liquid and your other vegetables and make soup. you can freeze the puree to reduce trips to the stores - james mcashan for the US Senate
