  • Hi there...

    Could you help me please.

I am trying to create a page flip brochure. I made everything as it is described in tutorials, but when comes time for export something goes wrong.

Instead SWF file the exported file appear with Winamp icon. When try to pre-save it as pdf, for e-mail distribution, the Reader says - file is damaged

I use: InDesign CS5 and Adobe Reader 10.1.1 but may be I need some additional software to make this exports properly. What do you think…?

    Тhanks in advance!

  • OMG...that helped me a lot... thank you so much

  • Hi!

I've finished an interactive document and tried to export as interactive PDF.

And to my surprise non of the animations and SWF i had in it works when i open it with adobe acrobat pro X. Is there something im missing? Like i have to open it with an adobe reader to see the animations?

    would appreciate the help!

  • Hi i made an element using this tutorial and i made the pages turn like a book (like u did) ... can i import that file into FLASH and make the pages still function and turn ??

  • @MistarShine92 Did you succeed? I'm looking for the same answer, if you found it, could you please tell me? Thanks in advance!

  • @miettt Kind of, I did it ages ago though but let me try and remember. Erm, I made the book and exported it as a SWF. I needed it to work in a flash based website. I think I imported it back on to my new document (the actual website) then right clicked the element and disabled "play" so it didn't flick through all of the pages. But if this doesn't work for you then let me know and i will try my best and figure it out and post a tutorial. If I manage to solve your problem. Good Luck.

  • @MistarShine92 Hey MistarShine, thanks for the quick reply, but I found a solution :D If you embed it, it will not have the same features you can add in the SWF (buttons etc), so you'll have to do it dynamic, load it from an external source. Or something like that :D Thanks anyway!

  • blurry but useful!

  • @mybensbread Thanks!

  • how do i set up the export so it exports as one layout page per PDF page as at the moment it is showing two for some reason.

What is the title of the music used?

  • i'm still a dummy when it comes to indesign. is there a way to insert a "loading" for swf files? what about scrolling texts? i tried looking for scripts of plugins for it, without success. thanks.
