Having been with Iced Earth for years, I don't personally believe this will work out well. But, I will be better than most here, and reserve judgement until the cd/first single comes out. I just can't see IE using these vocals, and this guys mid-high clean, is not that powerful.

I gotta say, I only just started listening to Into Eternity after I found out Stu was going to be the new Iced Earth singer, and so far I love it. My favorites have to be this and Surrounded by Night. But anyways, I just hope that in Iced Earth he will push his voice more towards how 0:56 - 1:06 sounds, and lays back on the growling and screaming. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but that just wouldn't work in Iced Earth. I just hope he can do Barlow's songs some justice live.

@UnholyCrusada I think he's gonna stick more with how his voice sounds at the time you indicated for Iced Earth. At least I hope so, not that his growls and screams are bad (in fact they kick ass) I personally think they'd give Iced Earth to much of a different feel vocally. That being said I think his growls would completely give Dante's Inferno (the first song I ever heard from Iced Earth, a really cool atmosphere). I can't wait to here what him and Jon come up with
