My high school chorus performed this song with no knowledge of the play or the story behind the characters whose voices we sang. As an adult, and knowing the story, I'm blown away by it. I wish I'd known when I was a child singing this. This version is gorgeous. Such powerful voices!

Why is everyone arguing over who is singing on this? Just do your research or buy the CD like I did. This is SONIA SWABY and JOANNA AMPIL. Jo's voice is similar to Lea's but you'll notice it's beltier and has more vibrato. A true Lea fan would notice this!!! This is the Complete Symphonic recording and NOT the London Cast cast recording. Well, that's my rant over! LOL

@Purpleronnie82 i know Lea Salonga plays the Kim. But this song is a duet of the characters Gigi and Kim. Neither of the parts, IN THIS VIDEO/VERSION was sang by Lea. This one's from the MS 1995 Studio Cast where Lea is NOT a part of (Lea was in the MS Original 1989 London Cast).  The voices here must be from Joana Ampil and Emy Baysic. Trust me i know Lea's tone. Though this one's close, some parts will prove it's not hers. If you're still unconvinced, check both albums in Amazon.com & compare
