Don't worry about your standard of English. Most British people have neither the vocabulary nor the intellect to "keep pace" with the "living treasure" Sewell.

I find this man really hard to understand, obviously there is nothing inherently wrong with speaking with a strong regional accent, but you'd think that the people making the TV show would ask him to tone it down a bit and speak clearly, is he eating, because it sounds like he has got something in his mouth.
Brian Sewall is a National Treasure - He used to Work for Christie's and when Eric Hebborn brought in his "John's" (HIS copies of the works of Augustus John's Drawings ) Brian apparently said :
"These "John's" are so bad ...............you could have done them yourself "
