4:07 Wasted opportunity. Instead of just relying on his cav to chase the retreating units, that would have been a perfect time for him to make a big push. Use the cav to force squares and basically turn it into a disorganized retreat, then push up his line to attack the squares that were formed. Either you lose your entangled line, or you have to push your men up quickly and face a real line.
Great vids. Learned a bunch, enjoyed a bunch more :)
If you see a unit, you shoot it, it then runs away what would be your instinct? Most players will think they are winning get cocky come off their advantageous position and end up getting creamed ;) Look up teh Battle of Hastings Normans did a similar thing if your interested.
Great Videos : ) .. and Great Commentary, you've got a very clear voice what's easy to listen too and keeps us all interested :) once again.. great video looking forward to some more : )
instead of commenting on his commentary, appreciate his tactical genius. 611 wins and 49 losses. thats a 12:1 win ratio. keep it up peul. loved the part how u forced the american line into squares and then massacred the skirmishers. but running after the american up a hill was a lil risky in my opinion.
Thanks mate, i'm beggining to like your comments friend :). I ran up the hill simply because of where is inf was located, noticed how few losses i took, that is because of where his troops were positioned, they shot most of their vollies into the ground. That allowed me to close the distance without being slaughtered.
i always used to suffer from that glitch with the skirmishers... i tried putting them into tight formation and it disappeared! i was like woohoo lol its soo annoying wen u have them facing the enemy and their firing arc is like to the left or something. how did the developers miss that seriously
Yeah and it can be really annoying moving light inf who are in loose formation around, especially if cav are chasing them, the pathing tends to take them towards the danger instead of just running away.

Just need to know. What exactly makes the opponent go off that hill if you just run away with a unit.
