Can you tell me why this live version sounds different to the version put on the Super Trouper album even though they said they used the live version on the album? COuld it be some tampering in the studio to make the one used on the album sound just that little bit better???

@EddieAlda There was a little amount of post-production work done on the song, that is true. But the reason is that ABBA performed at Wembley over 5 nights, and the audio of all 5 performances was recorded. Only 2 of the shows, however, were caught on camera for the concert film.  The version of the song on the 'Super Trouper' album could have come from any of the 5 performances, rather than the version filmed here.

I do! I stick on 'Happy New Year' and have a bloody good cry, then finish off with this and feel all better again! This ritual has been going on since the early 80s and I'm still at it!
