  • HE WAS MY FAVORITE ON SESAME STREET!!!!!!

  • The girl sounds like the Whammy from the original Press Your Luck.

  • Love the dialogue in this one.

  • Wish I could learn how to ride an egg beater. ;)

  • Wish I could learn how to ride an egg beater. ;)

  • i used to love this guy!!! i had completely forgotten about this until my sister was asking me about it and figured out it was this guy.............oh the memories!

  • I LOVE THE "TEENY LITTLE SUPER GUY"!!!!!!! I GREW UP OFF THIS.... IT'S NOW WHAT I CALL MY SON :)

  • I wonder if Jim Thurman was Uma Thurman's uncle or dad.

  • This was the 1st Teeny Little Super Guy sketch I saw as a kid. I still remember that his voice always made me laugh when I was little. I'm just glad I've found this after so long.

  • i so loved this when i was a kid.

  • How many packs of smokes a day did Teeny Little Super Guy smoke? At least 4.

  • Well, like he said...quitting's no fun.

  • -He doesn't smoke cigarette's, he eats them.

  • 'Ya' can't judge a hero by his size, he's just a Teeny Little Super Guy!'

Man, now that's a catchy tune! I don't know who invented this segment, but they were a genius.

  • I love Retro Sesame Street! The 80's Rule

  • Dude, freakin Elmo ruined Sesame Street. It was so much better when you had all this side stuff like Teeny Little Super guy. F**k Elmo.

  • DUDE! TRAINING BEATERS!!! I love this damn thing.

  • does anybody know of a sesame street skit with someone pulling someone's socks and a girl putting her hand on an x-ray hand picture?

  • The name of that skit is called "The Inside Story".

  • a staple of my childhood

  • Ditto Integral... great video... sans the comments...

  • I always thought that teeny little super guy is so new york

  • OMG...I have been longing for this guy for years. The only thing on Sesase Street I just loved...."he's just a teeny, super little guy" Introduction to vaudeville for kids.

  • The annotations are really annoying, like sitting next to someone who insists on talking all the way through your favourite film. Your viewing experience is not the definitive one, please just let the nostalgia be enjoyed uninterrupted.

  • Jim Thurman

    R.I.P 1935-2007

    We will miss you...

    Awesome!

  • man. i remeber running to the volume on the color tv, every time this would come on...

  • This was on both Sesame Street and Pinwheel

  • The subtext commentary ruins the nostalgia.

  • Error noticed @ 0:40

When Jane comes up to Teeny Little Super Guy, Jane's red lid is missing, but in the next shot where she yells "I quit!", her lid is on.

  • @tpirman1982 In almost about all forms of video with a story, they tend to skip small segments where common sense foretells what comes next, putting the lid back on in this case, that and time constraints

  • That kitchen is so early 80's

  • 0:38: LMAO!!!

  • "neither is falling off an eggbeater!" lol haha

  • Teeny Little Super Guy FTW!! Agreed...get rid of Elmo!!

  • They need more teeny little super guy clips .These are awsome!!! :)

  • Another thing from classic Sesame Street I miss.

    Get rid of Elmo. PLEASE!!

  • Man, yesterday I thought about "Teeny Little Super Guy." We've come a LOOONG way ya'll! I still remembered the song yesterday when I thought about the show. TV has not/will never be the same - cherish the memories.

  • wow brings back memories!

  • i always wondered how he went thru the countertops n stuff lol

  • I love the Teeny Little Super Guy. That theme song was so catchy.

  • i've had the theme stuck in my head afor a week so i looked it up on you tube. i remember this episode. ahhh those were the days!

  • I loved the rotating cabinet. I remember my day care sitter having one too. Kind of weird but my favorite part was always the end when it spun around.

  • "You can't tell a hero by his size..."lol, takes me way back

  • Wow I remember this! I love The Teeny Little Super Guy!!Brought back some tears. So young so innocent.:)Thanks for the memories!

  • I freakin love the Teeny Little Super Guy!

  • best theme tune ever! Did i ever tell you about the time?!

  • hahaha. a my fair lady reference. she's got it!

  • the best kids shows are also funny for adults... in more subtle ways but still very comical.

  • These were great! The animation is so original--cartoons on plastic cups. Awesome.

  • Wow, this is the one I remember most vividly from the late 80's.

    Amazing to see it again.

  • Trailing beaters! LOL!

  • A Mess! I love it!....LOL

  • This was one of my favorite segments.

  • Does anyone else get a kick out of how narrates the scene? (He said.)

  • I know I do! The funniest part to me was Jane saying, 'Let me put it another way...I quiiiit!'

    LOL!

  • TLSG explains it all.

  • I'll never forget being young and thinking how cool it was that he like melded into the counter like that. I crushed so many plastic cups trying to get them to do it. LOL

  • I still can't ride my eggbeater without training-beaters. :(

  • They made this into a Nickelodeon bumper in the late 1980's. It's on another video on Youtube.

  • Teeny Little Super Guy is my hero.

  • Nowadays, the phrase "...it's so dumb I can't ride it," would also get edited out. Because dumb is just an unacceptable word.

Oh, I miss these golden days of kid TV...

  • i knew i remembered this. everyone thought i was making this up. I've had the theme stuck in my head for a long time. Thank you sooo much for posting this.

  • LOL!! "The only way to get good at something is to prangtice. Ahem! The only way to get good at something is the prentice. Ahem! The only way to get good at something is to PRACTICE! There I got it."

  • Ah for the simple days of my youth... not having to deal with bills and whatnot. Heh, and I love the quip "But I never fell off my shoes!"

  • If this were made today, some idiot executive would probably think that the line "Let's take a look at your beater" was dirty and try to get it cut out.

  • Jesus Christ, I feel old!! I remember seeing this when I was about 5 or 6.

  • god, this makes me feel so nostalgic.

i miss those days. i'd sacrifice everything i have today just to go back to one whole day when i was 4.

  • god damn...I remember this!

I thought it was the most excellent thing since sliced bread

and now that im nearly 20 I realise well its just a disposable plastic cup

  • Wow memories! He sounds like a heavy smoker though hehehe...

  • This was one of my favorite parts of Sesame Street..lol

  • Falcon AWESOME!

  • Falcon punch?

  • this was one sweet show...does anybody know where i can get the opening theme from this show???

  • My absolute favorite segment of Sesame Street!! Big Kudos to you for posting this!! ahhh....sweet nostalgia :)

  • wow - training beaters - genius

  • These movies are cool. Sesame Street has really changed since back then.

  • I never forgot about this! Remember it to this day. I was tryna find someone else who remembered, and most of my friends didn't....ahh childhood!

  • this brought back so many memories! lol. and i remember that we had the same exact container back when i was still a kid (the one with the red cap). my mom used it for holding in paracetamols and vitamin tablets and stuff. :)

  • This is so cute. Cartoons today aren't as sweet and innocent as they once were, are they? Too bad.

  • I'll fight that teeny guy anytime. Also, I wish my cat had his voice.

  • OMG, I'm weeping right now with nostalgic pleasure -- *that* was my absolute *favorite* Teeny Little Super Guy featurette! I totally remember that "practic egg beater" thing! And -- wow, I suddenly feel 4 again. I want me some "ants on a log" now, and a cool glass of milk.

  • This one was my favorite, too. I love the Teeny Little Super Guy!

  • Yay! And thanks to tpirman1982 for sharing this video with us!
