Also, there will be an official DVD release soon! Thanks everyone for supporting my movie!
i just moved to LA in may of 03 , found Kiss Or Kill and was hooked. it was so much like portlands scene. free or cheap and lots of colorful characters to meet. all friendly, sexy, boozy fun. I still see some of them on tour. I always saw some of the bands when they hit town. w/o K or K LA would have really been crappy. thanks for this vid. great memories!!
thanks for sharing this, this was way interesting to say the least. I wont lie, Im not a fan of the music, but the scene itself it created had such potential to be really interesting.
When you see the movie you'll find out! Honestly, I'm not being a smart ass- it's just that's the question that I hope my film will answer. It will focus on the rise, the evolution and ultimately the decline of the KOK scene. How did you find out about all the Kiss or Kill bands being from Cleveland?
Kiss or Kill marked a golden age of recent vintage for Los Angeles-based rock 'n roll. The bands and fans shared a sense of unequaled community. I saw several Kiss or Kill shows early on and always left richer for the experience. I'm so glad this documentary got made.
Dave, if you don't finish this doc soon I'll KILL you! It's going to be amazing if this little glimpse is anything to go by. I'd pay $25 for my copy of the DVD...
