I was 8 years old when this happened(9-11) and this is the only thing i remember about being that age. I was in Brooklyn at the time at school and i was so scared that my mom was near the WTC and dead. But she wasn't and i stayed with my grandma in Brooklyn and my aunt picked me up from school. But God rest the souls who didn't get to see their loved ones, and eat their favorite foods, do their favorite hobbies, go to work, have a beer at the pub, travel, go to events, etc. God bless you all!

I was on the 94th floor of Tower two on 9/11 i worked at Fiduciary trust company international god bless all of those of my staff who were lost all i know is that 6 of my Other staff members escaped by Stairwell A the only working stairwell i found out about a week after the attack i still talk to my 6 friends theyre the only ones i still know are alive...

i watch the real footage, because the movie sucked arse. the only realistic part in it was the reaction of the rest of the world. in aus, my dad was on his way home from work, and he passed the army barracks on the way. it was in complete lockdown and the traffic had stopped, because we didn't know if it was a world-wide attack. dad got through on his bike, but he remembers everyone was on the rooves of their cars listening to the radios. anyone who says everyone hates americans is ignorant.

@ihatementals Im really sorry friend. i was in the towers also, 68th floor, tower 2 working for forest electric. I was saved by trying to help my friends and co workers who were in the first tower which was hit first, By the time I was in the lobby our buiding was hit, and the firefighters wouldnt let us go in tower 1 anyway. I heard the PA system to go back to our floors but we ignored it which saved us... I will never forget, never forgive....... I wish i could kill all these radicals myself.

I know that this film is about a very serious subject that has affected Americans and people all over the world. But doesn't anyone else find this film morbid? I do not feel that it is appropriate to recreate this disaster with hollywood drama just for the profit of the film industry.

Nicolas Cage is an awful, terrible actor; he should not be chosen to do any film that has this kind of sentimental significance. His accent and dialog are terrible.

This film cheapens the meaning of 9/11 to me.

The FDNY and NYPD didnt wanna go inside the towers to get the people but some of them had to and some of them wanted to volunteer just to save the people. god bless all FDNY and NYPD that died on 9/11/01 <3

they werent the only two that survived the falling towers. there were like, 12-14 people in the famous stairwell b (which, by some force, was the only part of the building that didnt smush, because of some crazy exact location of it in the percet timing etc). a bunch of firemen and a desk lady

Yes, there were 14 survivors in the Marriot Hotel in stairwell B. The reason that the building didn't crumble there is because that part was re-built and reinforced after the 1993 bombings, where as the rest of the Marriot wasn't.

Fire Fighters and Cops were so shocked that day, they kinda winged it but still knew what to do even on this day, they did a damn good job too. Now we've been training for this to happen again, imagine the progress we can make in saving lives next time? That's how we should also look at this, as an extra step in helping us know how to handle things.
