My cat dose the same thing, only he`s figured out how flip the water faucet lever, shame he can`t tell hot from cold, cold water good, hot not so much! Had to change faucet types to save him from his self. Alway knew when the hot water was on....YEOOOOOOOW!!!

There is a breed of cat (for some reason I'm thinking Abysinian, or Egypian) that enjoys water. I wonder if these cats have any of those genes.
