Why the fuck do they make it so complicated? Its just a photo frame not a laptop.

A good photo frame should only have 4 butons:on/off,previous photo,next photo and slide show. And maybe a mozaic list of photos. And a mp3 player incorporated, beacouse photos look better with music. And thats about it. OK,OK video is acceptabe but thats it.

i HATE digital picture frames! they are so bad for the environment and so unnessasary! They use more energy than a major appliance because they are on ALL the time! Actually, I have done research. Because the frame is on every second of every day, it will amount to more use than a computer because computers are not always on. Even if one does chose to leave their computer on, a computer is useful and not unnessesary unlike a digital picture frame.

Well if you have a lot of pictures and not a lot of space then you can fit more pictures in one area. Plus it's cheaper to just load an SD card and view it there, than using a hard copy. and for the environment part...well the energy used to run it isn't much at all and would be using less energy than booting up a computer to show someone pictures or to view it yourself.

Did you read the other comments? It uses a TON of energy because it is constantly on. Even if a computer uses more energy, it is ok because computers are actually helpful and not useless. If you MUST have one because you really have that many pictures, then only turn it on when compary is at your house. You have already seen the pictures, so it doesnt need to be on when no one is looking at it! The average persondont even have that many showcase pictures to begin with even if they think they do!
