I have just read your Cutting for Stone and am now reading your Tennis Partner. I am not a medical doctor (but Ph.D.) and I know nothing about tennis, but your books transcend this and other differences! They are so moving and humane! When I hold your book, The Tennis Partner, I feel that I am being held by a caring and consoling friend, and I don't even know you! This is so extraordinary. Thank you for the gift of your books.
