Just get an overclockable motherboard like a G31 or G41 board you can get the thing from stock speed to almost 3ghz and have it running fine and all this on stock cooling :D

I have bought new mb processor and ram in order to have a better pc but i had a prblem, sound didnt work having controllers installed because it seems that motherboard makes this problem. I will upload a new video of black ops as soon as i will have again my motherboard without any problem ;)

Buy mw3 for pc!!! If you play correctly to mw2 mp you will play nice to mw3 mp !!! Its an amazing game which works perfectly in my pc. It has solved the big shit they did with call of duty black ops :D .

Not that fatherkius is giving out bad information or anything, but I would just like to clear some thing up.

- Quad core processor is good, but that is your CPU, your graphics / video card's GPU is more important. Duo core or duel core processors with decent cards will work fine.

- Memory, otherwise known as ram, is for multitasking. 4g of ram will do you just fine. 2g may work.

- Overall, processor and graphics / video card is most important.

@aWellsie514 i have an intel core 2 duo 1.86 ghz and i have and nvidia geforce gts 450 and bops works badly in my pc. Buying a new graphic card haven't done anything. It is really important to have more than 2 gb of ram and of course have a good processor which arrives to the minium requeriments(not like mine)

@fatherkius Honestly I've never used only 2g of ram but I figure 4g should be enough. Ram is just for multitasking and holding many programs and processes at once. If you're only playing call of duty at the time and nothing else, you may get lucky. I personally have 8g DDR3. If you want to look at new computers, try for a quad core with decent onboard video and upgrade that later on if money is short. 8g of ram have never failed me so far.

@MakeTh3pOrn the most important in this game is CPU. I had and ati radeon x1650 and i bought a geforce gts 450 and this game conttinues working really bad. I have an intel core 2 duo E6300 (1.86 ghz), 2 gb ram ddr2. If your CPU doesnt meet the minium requeriments you will have to buy a new one like i'm going to do.

i have already bought nvidia geforce gts 450. I play better in singleplayer but not enough. I can't play multiplayer well , so i will have to change mi processor and motherboard( it only supports core 2 duo). My motherboard neither allows to make overclock. I have an ECS RC415T-M2

replace both CPU and GPU but if you cant replace CPU replace GPU your GPU is bottle necking your CPU but not by much go for at least an ati 5670 but i recently changed my 5670 for a nvidia gts 450 its a slight improvement in some games but others its a 50fps improvement worth the money! im running a phenom ii 550 x2 (unlocked to an x3)
