  • Why not just buy a real gun..? How much is this thing..?

  • wow that's impressive!!! only took 4 shots to knock over that 2nd can

  • Look it a bb fell out at 1:54

  • just to reload that gun you in a airsoft game, you are already be dead

  • I was planning on buying this but i need to know where i can buy the shells for the gun?

  • How are removable shells cheaper?

  • @Edouard551 He's saying cheaply made revolvers use removable shells, not that the shells themselves are cheaper...

  • metal or plastic bbs?

  • bs about the 1 bb per shell i have a revolver with removable shells and it holds 4 bbs per shell

  • @samdingethal

Because he would rather shoot his friends with a real gun than an airsoft gun, and you're telling him to do so.

  • Tokio Marui is much better than Tanaka.... but I don´t know if is legal in USA

  • @matsuoka23 it is

  • @matsuoka23 sigh

  • If your over eighteen I would buy one of these to admire the mechanisms and craftmanship of it but I would also buy something that shoots metal as well because you can admire the mechanisms in that as you defend yourself or practice your aim. Rather than admiring the end of a baseball bat from a large masked man with an elementary level education.

  • im sorry i want you to die for putting on a scope

  • I love tanaka guns, they are great. but I hate they dont have removal shells. its not realistic if they make the shells removable

  • does this gun have any kick back to it?

  • Well with the new WinGun revolvers they have both the shells and the 400+ FPS but since its CO2 powered FPS will begin to lower as the CO2 fades.

But Tanaka sure does have one of the best airsoft revolvers on the market.

  • Um dude.... Get outta your moms basement and mount up bitch!

  • Sockchoppercat,

No shit? It's uses are different? You mean I CAN'T kill people with this? Fux...

  • U put way to much gas in the shells

  • how old are you ... ?

  • why you would want a revolver with a scope some will never know?

  • @FreeToSnipe Sometimes people use large caliber revolvers for hunting.

  • Gotta hate shiny silver revolvers. Revolvers are made to kill. Stop getting all 'Catholic' bout it. Apart from that, matte black is badass.

  • wait where's your speed loader?

  • So its basically fake, with a normal revolver you can on shoot 5 or 6...

  • Comment removed

  • Can I keep it daddy?

  • Waw. when i started watching this, i was wondering 'why the hell does it have that orange "not a real gun"-tip?' Only then I figured out it was a bb gun. I must say, that is one fine looking airsoft gun.

  • Is it metal or ABS? Also what gas does it use?

  • is it metal?

  • how much was this?

  • If I were to fully load this thing up and spin the chamber would it spew the bbs out or break the mechanism?

  • They should make use of combining a Lionheart and a Revolver

  • @motoxxx9891 almost as gay a you ass hole some of us dont want to kill people so they use airsoft guns mother fucker

  • @motoxxx9891 You obviously have no experience whatsoever with airsoft guns. The only similarity with real firearms is the appearance. Everything else - its uses, what it's intended for etc. are completely different.

  • @motoxxx9891 So toys can't be on youtube? I didn't know we had a rule against toys...

Fuck you. The "Tanaka" at the title explains it pretty well, and you only clicked it because you are an ass who doesn't even know enough about guns to search about them on YouTube.

  • That is one neat loading mechanism.

  • its called double-single action

  • what is the difference between the m500 and the m500 compensated hunter?

  • its more like a rifle ^^

  • plastic or metal build quality?

  • so whats the point of having a revolver if you don't have to reload it.

  • Looks good, and i know tanaka IS good, but the cheaper revolvers youre talking about are simply more realistic...(for LARP etc)

For a skirmish or how its in english called, this one is i guess better. :-)

    thanks for review anyways

  • actually the other "cheaper" guns use shells with one BB in each for realism... you don't really use them anyways -.- mostly people buying revolvers like these for airsoft don't really use them

  • scope on a handgun lame!!!

  • is it full metal? or are there just metal components (obviously the grip isnt metal) but for the price im being charged i would like to know if it is metal or not B4 i buy it

  • Dude your M500 is DOPE! But mine will kick its ASS! Cause its a CASYOPEA! Yeah bitch! coming spring break 2011 :) JK but i am gettin one off of forum :)

  • big man with a toy ?! why ? just buy a real one

  • @alan14789

not an airsofter then? well I can't clame to know this dudes views on it but for me, its mostly being able to shoot youre friends and not feel too guilty about it...

  • the tanaka colt saa isnt a cheap revolver and it has removable shells

  • when he said a BSAA scope i think he ment resident evil scope

  • Can you try do a reveiw on your revoler shooting a 6mm paintball bbs? I know I seen

a reveiw on a uhc revoler that shot a 6mm paintball bb. I was wondering if you could do that with your gun? I that it would be cool to do quick draws with. You have a cool gun. Can you buy your gun in the united states if so where at?

  • Love that self load system, awesome gun!! Great vid dude

  • whats the FPS and range on that thing?

  • @los0rebelde

FPS is about 420 with propane and .20g bb's. It's pretty accurate and has adjustable hop-up. I'm not sure what the exact effective range is though.

  • @danhowitzer Co2....not propane

  • @danhowitzer ....youre using butane

  • the mod you made to it made it look really cool. i mean i pictured it without the mod and it was like ugh

  • @lilmanc14

    Thanks!

  • I just love how there's a model of the Tanaka 500 that comes with a 'compensator' xD

  • I was the 10,000 veiwer!

  • is the cylinder removable?

  • @HGClark

Yes, it is removable for cleaning. It's actually pretty fun to take this thing apart.

  • no offense.but i would rather have plastic shells than the shells in that gun i mean the shells and the orange tip make it look like a ten dollar airsoft gun

  • @Gthompson09

I had to paint a blaze orange tip on it when I listed it on eBay. Thems the rules, unfortunately. I do agree it looks ugly though.

  • this is airsoft! at least fucking put it in the title!

  • wtf! its a air soft nigga

  • who the fuck puts a 3-9x scope on a pistol?

  • @NateAdkinsBand

It is a 2X long eye relief scope and mostly for looks :P

  • @danhowitzer Ohhh haha

  • fucken ridiculous

  • OMFG get a speed loader

  • you think a Tanaka M500 4" or an SAA would be more practical

  • @LieutenantIDan

I would say a double action revolver would be more practical for skirmishing. If I were to buy a new one right now I would get one of their snub nose revolvers as a more practical choice.

  • is this an all metal gun?

    please reply, thanks

  • @BaNGhOle555

Part of the frame and outer barrel are plastic. The rest is metal.

  • Flippin' magical magazine. :o

  • @SASUAirsoftTeam

    I know, seriously.

  • Im sure this is a quality revolver, but from here it looks crappy

  • Did the weaver rail come with this gun? Or, how did you modify it? Thanks.

  • @joesamprerer

    Modified with screws and epoxy.

  • i prefer six shots 4 that classic feel

  • Fallout 3 prop O.O

  • good job Tanaka u take all the fun out of having a revolver. u take away the shells and basically give it a 13 round magazine. why dont u give it a slide and maybe a fully automatic feature while your at it. damn people cant just leave a good thing alone can they

  • @DeadTired171

It's just like anything, you have to make trade-offs and decide what features are most important to you. I liked the increased capacity, efficient gas system, and high velocity of the Tanaka. That was just a personal choice.

  • @DeadTired171 get the tanaka m500 casopeya

  • @DeadTired171 i doubt u have 2 load all 13 bbs just feed 6 at a time then reload each bb as if it were a shell

  • @DeadTired171 takes shells that takes shells called the casiopiea

  • @DeadTired171 That's why there ARE other guns that come with shells. Tanaka built this gun because IT MAKES SENSE, instead of changing your shells every six shots during a game. Sure maybe you'd prefer a revolver with shells over one that doesn't for a model or something similar, but for playing a game, this is the obvious choice. You say it like they modified the only airsoft revolver out there against your liking. Now if you'll excuse me I have someone else to rant to.

  • @pengu303 ya but there are still much better and better built guns for cheaper than this thing i mean go look around. for like a $100 you can get a full metal green gas or co2 revolver

  • @DeadTired171 Fair enough on the price and quality part, but the practicality just doesn't compare.

  • @pengu303 well lets face it revolvers just aren't practical at all in any scene they were built to be reliable, and by that i mean they never break or jam (if maintained properly) i mean they are just large and bulky and not really ideal for anything but a sidearm at medium range and even at that there are many much better choices than a revolver. so i guess what i am saying is that they are only good for pure intimidation and or a show gun

  • @rexicallz if your still looking check out Camodump.com

  • i was waiting to here BANG!

  • Very nice replica but its funny when it goes tink try the real one too

  • isnt the scope backwarts?

  • @AAfireworks Pistol scopes are like that, it gives them more eye relief so you don't need your eye right behind it like a rifle scope

  • srsly, fucking lame -.-'

  • thats a bad thing tho, need to bring a speed loader everywhere u go, for the HFC one you just need to get a 24 round mag

  • Isn't the scope on back to front ?

  • dude i really want this gun but i cant find it anywhere apparently its been discontinued do you know where i can find it?

  • @kidgetsowned only one version has been discontinued

  • @saj12100 so where do i go to buy it?

  • The red cap ruins it :<

  • @MrSyaoran96 it also keeps you from being shot by the police

  • @MrSyaoran96 are you from america. it is illegal to use one without it

  • i gave up on airsoft once i figured out realones only cost only alittle bit more :/

  • its kinda useless to put a scope on a revolver

  • @NinjaOfTinFoil not necessarily. At least on the real steel, the M500 has enough range to use a scope.

  • i luv Tanaka revolvers they are awesome!!!

  • A MAGNUM WITH A SCOPE o.O

  • @magnumwarrior001 Very common with the real deal.

  • @magnumwarrior001 magnums with scopes are used to shoot bears

  • @magnumwarrior001 Since the S&W 500 was made first and foremost as a hunting revolver, a scope is going to be more common than you might at first imagine.

  • @magnumwarrior001 yes ? i have an m203 grenade launcher on my knife, is gotten handy

  • @magnumwarrior001 Welcome to real life revolvers, quite a few have scopes.

  • Cool gun but id rather stick to the realism of shells that hold one bb. Like the real one.

  • scope... for some reason i always find handguns with scopes hilarious.

  • Nice video man! Tanaka makes very fine replicas, is the hop-up adjustable on this model?

  • @kittyman187

Yes, this one uses the PEGASUS II system which has adjustable hop-up using a very small hex key.

  • @danhowitzer Amazing! This airsoft revolver is obviously alot more advanced and skirmishable with those features!

  • I like the loading system, but then again I like the realism of the shells, but if I'm in a battle I'll probably use that. For showcase I'd get a full metal revolver that does take shells.

  • Sorry, but that's NOT a gun it's a toy.

  • @Indogyearsimdead Really?, i couldent tell from the orange tip and Tanaka as an airsoft brand name, also the rounds its shooting 6mm plastic bb's??? no way thats no toy!

  • @CheytacOps Sharp like bowling ball.

  • @CheytacOps You know IF I were a criminal, the FIRST thing I would do is paint the end of my gun orange.

  • @Indogyearsimdead really? a $200+ toy?

  • @saj12100 You use it to hunt or save your life and then tell me it's not an FN toy. Oh wait you’ll be dead.

You really can't use it for practice, because it doesn't have realistic recoil.

Realistically all it's good for is tricking people in countries were can't legally own REAL firearms and kids.

$200+ just proves a sucker and his money are soon parted.

  • @Indogyearsimdead it COULD be used as a training tool.

  • In the sense of skirmishing, a revolver isn't good at all. In the sense of collecting purposes, the removable shells are better. More realistic and more fun to mess around with.

  • WITH FLIP COVERS HMHMHMMMHMMMHMMMM =D

  • @rexicallz try CRW airsoft too ;)

  • @rexicallz If you know what your size is, I might be able to hook up possibly I'll let you know, I live in America so shipping might be a pain. And I heard that sometimes a CASYOPEA turns up in Hong Kong and I was wondering if you have seen anyone selling a Tanaka SAA CASYOPEA, if so let me know.

  • @rexicallz Try looking on U.S. eBay and see if the seller will ship internationally.

  • @danhowitzer Just dont live in Hong Kong.

  • get a real gun fucker

  • @phazonprime13 Suck a real dick fucker.

  • how much did it cost

  • @jayman2286 read the fucking description... is it so hard?

  • here in sewden you get a similar that shoots 145 MS (GAS) for about 70$ you can prob find it somewhere else

  • Stay away from anything made in China...they have absolutely no quality control, they eat dogs/cats, and are notoriously bad drivers!!!

  • @Adam986 what? china makes the best airsoft guns. whats wrong with eating dogs/cats? and so what if they crash the moment they get into a car? why not learn to acept a culture, instead of bashing it without any back up. and besides, they dont eat cats/dogs, thats affrica.

  • What I am afraid of is some stupid person will get one of these, and paint the orange part of the barrel black and then try and use it in a crime and also aim this at a Police Officer or someone who is packing a real handgun (CCW) and return fire!

The gun is ok was used the way it was made but there are always stupid people out there.

  • Here in Estonia , we're allowed not to have these tips . The government doesnt give afuck . :D

  • in germany are the airsoft weapons without this orage things ;)

  • but in germany full auto is forbidden when the gun have more than 0,5 joule.

  • Are tanaka S&W 500's plastic or metal?

  • wow, Lost of shots, maybe this would be the only type of airsoft revolver that can be used in a war!!!

  • can u remove the orange thing at the end of the muzzle?

  • you can if you

wedge it off but it is illegal

  • i think its painted on to the gun

  • if you want it tooking away by a cop sure do it

  • Main idea of a revolver would probably be a realistic model that has shells. Think of a revolver as mostly a cool sidearm not an unstoppable 13 round hand sniper that you can own everyone with.

  • I think that revolvers itself gets the total look to it destroyed buy the fact that it shoots over 6 shot, I don't know about this user but I would prefer using shells even though it might look cheap to him and the Fps might be a little lower. My opinion is that the air soft revolver is mostly a nice looking show gun that might have the ability of getting you out of a tight spot in an air soft battle, a scope on that m500 might not be too good unless your using it at home like this guy.

  • There are good revolvers that use shells - the Tokyo Marui and WG or whatever its called. Some poeple don't like them because you can lose shells though. Supposedly this Tanaka comes with its own speedloader. Plus this thing looks VERY scary on the field, great for checking it at the chrono or while reloading during intermission :)

I agree that a 13-shot revolver that is longer than a foot isn't the most practical weapon, but some people can work wonders with just a handgun (me...hehe)

  • he thinks he's cool cuz he got a scope

  • i give it a 6 out of 10 ... on the gay scale

  • honestly a scope on a pistol?....

  • The ones with removable shells are well better dumb ass.

  • @jessysmydog the ones with removable shells are WELL better ? nice grammar "dumb ass"

  • why buy it from china while you can buy a metal one for 70 in georgia?

  • esta shingon

  • I have a WG 703 Revolver, it's pretty nice I got it for $150, it runs on C02, which I need because I live in kind of colder climate. It's got an 8 inch barrel, and I really like the realism of the metal shells, and I think it's kind of cool that you only get six shots. The guns pretty heavy it's like 3 pounds and just feels like a really nice quality gun and i've chrono'd it at 487 max with .2s. So would you reccomend the Tanaka m500 over my gun, if I'm going for realism and performance?

  • m500 because the authentick tanaka quality works

  • @theLEMONcitrus thanks but I decided to sell the revolver and used the money and bought a KWA M9 PTP Tactical

  • yea thats better for skirmishing

  • youre a crap shot

  • this gun is or has been discontinues and the scop is like from fall out

  • not true i have well my friend has a revolver thet holds 4 bbs in 1 shell and its not tanaka
