  • its by Boeing not Hughes

  • @SMJeOma Actually The Hind Cant Take Shots. There was an instance where a Hind was shot down by Small Arms fire. Also 3 Hinds were captured by USA,Britain, and Canada. 1 for each place

  • Oplion or whatever If you join the military u dont pay to fly they train u and there's no were else you could fly them dumb ass or my famus term u spiritual shit wiggling dancer

  • アパッチ・・・これにも日本の半導体が使われてるw

  • MI-28/N & KA-50/52 better

  • @Zuev4anin

KA-50 is not a superior gunship and Neither is the MI-28, sorry.

  • @Providence932 ... The hind can even take aa shots.. man.. it is maybe not superior but atleast a equal..

  • hm... in NATO agression on serbia 1999, 3 or 4 apache's have to kick our serbian asses, and then, what hapened? none of ah64 hit the target, 1 was, shot down in macedonia, 2 was shot very bad and only 1 wasn't hit. so this chopper is good only against afgan camel caravans

  • its a flying TANK!

  • gah i really want to fly a heli! honestly if the damn price of flight training wasnt so high then i would :(

  • lol i guess the police could use it if they wanted to shoot a hellfire missile at the evading criminal

  • why doesn't the police use this choppers? criminals will get busted in 5 minutes, and in a bank robbery the robbers will come out of the bank in only 10 seconds!

  • @gtazocker312 Too expensive, not in local PD's budgets. If they have an attack chopper, it'd have to be like LAPD (Los Vegas) and they'd probably only have one. Most PD choppers are similar to civilian choppers based on the MH-6 models you can see in the military, they are cheap, slightly faster than land vehicles (plus the advantage of going over the terrain and not having obstructions) and provide for scouting that the PDs can use. It's pretty rare to see them need to use a chopper though.

  • hahahahaha and what was in 1999 in Albania when we have destroyed more of the helicopters are not used in operations

  • @Vann7 how do you know i bet they havent been battle proven yet

  • Comment removed

  • 11 kill streak :D

  • let the helifires roll

  • This is the Rotary winged serpent, it is the piece maker, the commando of the sky

  • ah64a uses two t700 ge 701 turboshaft engines, ah64c uses the t700 701c turboshaft engines, the ah64d block III uses t700 710d turboshaft engines

the westland uk version uses rolls royce rtm 322 engines

  • @dog4company sureeeee

  • Comment removed

  • @opfor97 shut the fuck up attention whore

  • @dog4company No..it's not. But thanks.

  • @dog4company Ok.. KA50 is an amazing helicopter, but saying the Apache is crap is just you being ignorant. Apaches are exceptional aircraft and so are KA50's.. so grow up and accept the fact theyre both the best.

  • @Arcturus117 Agree with you mate. But KA50s are not used, they were experimental, Ka52 replaced them.

  • @realIBeliX Ah I see, I'm not too experienced with that Ka's but I hear they're good gunships. However in a pitched battle against an Apache well I don't know. Then again I don't think apaches were designed for any dogfighting so who knows.

  • @Arcturus117 KA50 are experimental, actually were, they are replaced by KA52 and will be used in Russian Airforce. Apache, especially Longbow is cool, I love that chopper. Both KA52 and AH64 are my favorite.

  • @realIBeliX Yeah definitely they're both really awesome helicopters. Which I don't understand why most people can't just say that and stop with one has to be better than the other bullshit. But totally agree with you man.

  • @dog4company Would love to hear you repeat that when it's pelting you with 30mm rounds.

  • 14 talebans

  • AH-1Z is better.

  • чорная акула

  • cool bru, nice, this is great ^^

  • chopper gunner! find him before he gets the nuke!

  • meh.. ka-50/52 still kick ass

  • JakusLarkus you thought you how to invest it normal or what I think you understand the war has nothing ..!

  • normally you want to sen used her way of war to restore democracy in developing countries deaf hand DAMAGE for Africa

  • @prettygurlz1990 marines dont fly apaches. only army

  • rio de janeiro tá precisando de um desses

  • thts wht im going to school for is to be an usmc apache fighter.

  • @prettygurlz1990, Marines use Cobras not Apaches, and you can't choose what aircraft you fly.

  • @prettygurlz1990

That's why I'm joining the Salvation Army to fly the M1 Abrams tank. I heard it can break the sound barrier!

  • @IchiCrack LOL

  • Certainly a terrific machine, but I'll take my old warhorse the UH-1C.

  • Look at the Arab and the Jew and see what they have done!!! it will really surprise you.. check it out ....Travel without Borders and Be Free.....

  • Guys, The US and the UK are allied. There's no need to fight it out over who's better than who. We won WWII together and we're fighting in the middle east together, so let's just chill out, eh?

  • if ever joined the army i would want to be a sniper or an attack chopper pilot. and immune to small arms fire? is a barret m82a1 or barret m95 considered small arms?

  • what a marvelous piece of engineering!

  • he must be talking about team tactical... ac130 is way better for ground war if you spawn trap

  • russian mi 28 is better

  • @wafertastic uhm not even close. Im guessing you only judge that from video games you play. The apache and all other vehicles americans made are far superior to russians who dont even know how to keep their economies running.

  • @wafertastic It's Russian. That means it's twice as big and half as efficient.

  • is there any way you can not love gunships. awesome machines..

  • VERY VERY VERY NICE VIDEOS TOV TODA

  • "10 years later" This must been made in 1996... pretty awesome

  • Made in America, perfected in the UK. Apparently, the MOD and Agusta-Westland are still refusing to sell their improved versions (Rolls Royce Engines, better electronic countermeasures, folding blades) to America over fears of America being a little too willing to sell technology on the export market.

  • @xylaphonemaster No, Boeing shipped the first eight complete WAH-64's and another 59 in kit form, to Britian from America........These Apaches were, "made in America" for Britian........Why would we want to buy it back? Seriously, what are you talking about?

  • @dau2bar

rofl he has been reading too much English propaganda

  • @xylaphonemaster, the AH-64D Apache Longbow has pretty good electronic countermeasures, only thing which makes the Westland Apache better is better engines and rotors, but it cost more to due so, harder to fix, and more Maintenance.

  • @xylaphonemaster another UK troll. Your military sucks do quit trying to over compensate. The Brits are being flown around by American helicopters. You can't even make a piece equipment without begging for help from other EU nations. Ever study the Falklands? What a disaster. 11 or so ships sunk by Vietnam era American export fighters? That's what happens when you fight on the cheap.

  • @Warpath2198 if u think that ur so supierior to us then why are u using are language and if u think that the falklands was a disaster then maybes u should take a look at vietnam because that was far from a success.

  • @conza410 Vietnam was a disaster for its own people. The U.S. never lost a battle and even if the military occupied the north and killed millions more of them they would still be resisting. If you ever bothered to pick up a history book you might get a clue. In the Falklands the Brits were not hamstring by politicians. The UK went all out and their ships were going down left and right lol. Just be happy Argetina citizens made thei govt. step down and surrender.

  • @Warpath2198 are u stupid thats what u do in a war dumbass and the outcome of the vietnam war was a north noth vietnamese victory and ur pussy country withdrew and alos In the post-war era, Americans struggled to absorb the lessons of the military intervention and there is a big difference between vietnam and the falkands because we won our war and u lost your war BIG difference. btw most of ur facts are comming out of ur ass lol u must be a typical yank.

  • @conza410 Its apparent they don't teach about the Vietnam CONFLICT in the UK. Most of my facts? lol. Look it up yourself. The Falklands has showm in the modern era the UK simply cannot fight without the support of the U.S. Its just that simple. Struggled to learn the lessons? lol. Well the exact same formula is being used in Afghanistan and Iraq which are both nation building proxy wars. Instead of communism vs. democracy its Sharia law vs. democracy lol.

  • @Warpath2198 the U.S done fuck all in the falklands infact we were up against a military that was using some of ur equipment yet we still won FACT!

  • @Warpath2198 The U.S. Navy considered a successful counter-invasion by the British to be 'a military impossibility' lol shows how much the US of fucking A knows about warfare.

  • @conza410 The US navy never considered counter invasion of the falklands impossible another internet lie . It was because the RN had no large deck carriers with F4 phantoms, and Hawkeye early warning aircraft that argies were able to sink Sheffield, Coventry and couple of other ships US Navy with greatest class of warships ever built the super carrier and airforce using greatest bomber ever built the B52 would have swatted the argies very quickly

  • @jers59 u must be a troll since u argue against facts and i take it that u don't know alot about warfare because vietnam was mostly a ground and air campaing and u were facing guerrillas that didn't have a navy so thats maybes why u never lost a ship and we were facing real soldiers with a real navy and so there is a big difference between vietnam and the falklands first of all the falklands war was a success and the vietnam was not a success BIG difference.

  • @conza410 You are the troll the argies did not real navy unless you call aircraft carrier that cannot leave port because the boilers are shot the rest of navy was WW2 museum fleet that should have been scrapped years ago US won every battle in Vietnam USN ships were attacked by NVA aircraft The difference the US had real aircraft carriers not tiny inept jump jet ships that can only carry VSTOL aircrasft no attack or early airborne warning aircraft

  • @jers59 ok so if the US have real aircraft and shit how come they lost the war to a bunch of guerrillas that had little more than a bamboo roof hmmmmm ur military doesn't seem to be as powerful as u say and don't bother bringing the NVA into this because they too had pretty the same standards as the viet cong yet u had b52 bombers,f4 phantoms ,naplam bombs, helicopters and M16s and u still lost the war hahahah and from this point forward our conversation has ended RULE BRITANNIA FUCK AMERICA.

  • @conza410 Still pissed off we threw you out of the colonies and defeated you in war of 1812. You were thrown out of India by people wearing diapers and drinking there own urine. Malaysia 1942 largest british surrender in history when you had more soldiers then the japs and you surrendered to them RN is the size of Uganda navy USkilled over million gooks in vietnam you had difficulty with few argies conscripts

  • @jers59 did u not read my last comment i said this was over and u can argue as much as u like but the main thing is that everyone hates america so fuck u RULE BRITANNIA FUCK AMERICA hooooooorah.

  • @conza410 Guess you bare still pissed off Rule Britannia LOL thats good one Its the US that rules the worlds oceans and has since 1942. The US navy can take on and defeat in 1 battle the next 20 biggest navies in 1 battle get over your jealousies its eating you alive.

  • @jers59 actually i am not pissed off and u are the jealous one since u tried to prolong our arguement when i said that the arguement was over so either ur jealous or ur a toll simple as.

  • @conza410 First of all.

Vietnam was armed by Russia with some of the most sophisticated anti-aircraft systems in the world. Furthermore, if the US wanted to simply hammer the north into oblivion then they could have. The mission was to win hearts and minds but the country was involved in a multi-faction civil war that no power could have intervened on.

  • @conza410 The argies only had 5 Exocet missiles if the fools had waited and purchased more the argies would have sunk the entire RN because the RN was paper tiger no real aircraft carriers to defend the fleet 1982 the US had BB USS New Jersey a Iowa class BB the greatest in naval history in service, that would have destroyed the falklands. USAF had B52 bomber by far the greatest ever that would have carpet bombed the argies . Just more brit BS about falklands

  • @conza410 first US killed over 1.000.000 commies in vietnam fighting in jungle warfare the brits just faced couple thousand conscript argies who never wanted to be in falklands in first place and lost several warships. US never lost 1 warship in vietnam The US Navy today can take on and defeat in 1 battle the next 20 biggest navies

  • @conza410 Your language? English has a shit load of influence from invadng nations from anglo, saxons, normans, romans, and vikings lol. Silly little Brits.

  • LOL =)

  • wich configuration is better.....16 hellfire missiles or 8 hellfire missles/38 hydra 70 rockets?

  • @jgtheman84 depends. hydras are rapid-fire rockets, not really designed for anti-armor, they're used for covering/supporting fire instead. hellfires, on the other hand, are deadly missiles and make the apache a tank predator, that and they're shot from the air with guidance and precision, so they're used when the apache is on an anti-armor mission. it uses 8 AGMs and 38 hydras on normal missions, and the apache's normal mission is ground support.

    there is no 'better' configuration.

  • @AntiTPG yeah i guess its best to have a balanced armament. i love the hyrda rockets they look and sound so devastating when they fired rapidly.

  • @AntiTPG the hellfires can only be launched one at a time right? by that i mean you have to wait for the first one to hit before you can launch the second one. thats where the hydra's are better because you can launch 38 rockets in one second.

  • @jgtheman84 yeah. but i dont think they'll launch all 38 hydras at the same time.

  • @AntiTPG well it only takes one second of trigger pull so thats usually what they do if they fire in salvos.

  • mw2

  • @iTzDyNastYv2 FUCK U

  • mw2

  • Boom

  • The Apache would eat, the Russian "Kamov Black Shark" for breakfast and use it's rotor-blades, as tooth picks to clean its teeth, before taking a long nap, with a smile.

  • awesome vidoe .... thanks

  • Oh and when i said jets i meant turbofans on the side that could propel a modern helicopter well over 300mph, think first before you call someone a retard, Do some reading first if you can.

  • @daveywaveydave ok im going to intervene Apaches have twin turbofan engines basically jet engines. also in regards to the argument of speed , helicopters cannot exceed speeds of around 300 mph because at that speed the rotors themselves are turning at over the speed of sound , after that they would break apart , that is the limiting factor in a helicopters rotor system, though their have been recent design changes in the overall shape of the blade that could improve their speed .

  • Some of this footage was filmed at Ft. Hood,TX on Belton Lake and Cowhouse creek. I grew up in Killeen, TX and have spend many years hunting and fishing on Ft. Hood

  • @daveywaveydave wow you are retarded.. it has two jet engines that turn the rotors and why would a helicopter need to go 300+ miles per hour to attack target from well over 3500+meters in total silence?

  • Wow you are the first person to actively call me a retard on You tube congratulations :)......A faster speed = greater Defence against small to medium Calibre cannons and MANPADS in that if you have a faster helicopter and you're under heavy fire you can escape much more quickly than a helicopter doing half the speed can. Also like i said with more power you can carry more ordnance like the ah-56 and Sikorsky s-67 carried in the 1960-70's but you are dumb and probably cant understand that ciao.

  • @daveywaveydave sorry it took a year on the comment... but the commanche had collapsing landing gear and said enclosed tail rotor but the project went so far over budget it was shut down.

  • @daveywaveydave sorry it took a year on the comment... but the commanche haad collapsing landing gear and said enclosed tail rotor but the project went so far over budget it was shut down. lso has ground to air missile defenses

  • the footage is of AAC apaches

  • AAC, as in UK's Army Air Corps?

Well since they said "even today, 10 years after it's introduction" and seeing how it was introduced in 1984 and the UK didn't get any Apache's until 2001...it isn't.

  • some of the footage is AAC I think - other are oviously the United States Army

  • Why do you think that?

This is AH-64A, UK only uses Longbows

  • The U.S. created and uses the longbow. The UK uses the longbow also and it is called the AgustaWestland Apache.

  • I know that. I'm saying the UK doesn't and hasn't operated any AH-64A, only D model Longbows.

  • alright my bad

  • I remeber seeing the AAC emeolem on the side of one of the helis

  • You must understand that all weapons can be brought down. The F-117 is shot down and the Apache is no different, they are the best nonetheless and have successfully done their mission objectives. All aircraft can be shot down even with a small arms fire as long as it's done the right way. All aircrafts have it's weakness and the Apache eventhough a very impressive gunship, flys at low altitude and it's very vulnerable AA guns, missiles and other weapons. By ratio, the Apache is very successful.

  • Not so much done the right way but yes a very lucky strike can bring them down.

  • actual investigations find the weapon that brought down the Apache was a handheld SA7 anti-aircraft weapon

  • AH 64 kicks ass

  • The Apaches is one cool bird, but it's not without it's flaws. It was designed for eastern europe, as was the M1 Abrams. We lost some to just the environment in iraq, and one to a very angry farmer with a rifle. it's the best tank hunter to date, but other than that, it's close to rubbish.

  • warning - bullshit alert

  • What? It was Designed to fight the cold war. Not the Desert war. Look at it's design notes before you just call BS mate.

  • yeah, so what if it was?

Theres been many weapon platforms that have been reconfigured with new design modifications to make them effective for new mission objectives. Part of original design activiity is to assess this. It'd be foolish not too. The B-52 stratofortress bomber is a prime example of this. Just because you read about the original design objective in a comic book somewhere doesn't mean it currently configured that way. You're in no position to make the rubbish assessment.

  • Okay, It was designed for a totally different war, can be brought down by something as minimal as AK47 fire, and it's effectiveness against anything but tanks and tank like vehicles is minimal. It's the best of the best, but it's rubbish.

Off the bat, one thing that would make it better, is a different type of engine. Then it wouldn't be rubbish.

  • The claim it was brought down by a farmer's rifle is just that, a claim, by the adversary, and not by an AK47. Which brings up another point, the AK47. A rifle designed decades ago, FOR ANOTHER WAR. And yet its still an effective weapon to this day.

  • It wasn't just a claim, mind you.

And if that's not enough to convince, i think the Apache is the only "All theatre" attack Helicopter brought down by sand.

Plus, it's the only attack helicopter of it's generation that claims to be invulnerable to small arms fire while also being the only one that isn't.

  • No, mind you, it was a claim. There's no definitive evidence or proof that was the case. It was a claim by the Iraqis. The captured chopper was destroyed within 24 hours by an air strike.

  • It wasn't an Ak, rather a Karabiner 98. A ww2 rifle. Something that makes a rather mean hole. A threat to anything lightly armored XD

And, if it was destroyed by an air strike, explain the same day transportation of an Apache with a similar hit by helicopter that went on.

All this and more just proves how rubbishy effective it is. I'd even go so far as to blame the actual pilot >.>

  • Invulnerable to small arms fire? No. the crew compartment is protected by small arms fire not the whole helicopter.

11 Apaches have been shot down by hostile fire. It doesn't say specifics but at least 3 of those were from missile attacks.

  • Canada should get some of those jeeze we got crap vehicles!

  • Hi hater! Bye hater!

  • maybe because you cant win an occupation dumbass. if we wanted to really have a war with iraq or afghanistan, we would rock their shit

  • as far as a conventional WAR goes

we DESTROYED the Iraq army. twice!

  • yup

  • The Apache kicks ass newly designed at Mesa Arizona Plant. Added new electronics,Super Computer,Bullet Proof most major areas,Apache long bow is amazing even though its been around probobly alot longer then I knew since im fish in hawaii usa is number 1.

  • Anyone remember the story of one of Saddam's severely depleted divisions surrendering to a single Apache? The Apache rounded them up like a Sheepherding Dog. Awesome video, CA!

  • what is he vide called

  • @ironhardt You should be embarrased about bragging with a comment like that, A Super Power like the USA taking on a numerically and technologically inferior military, basically an insignificant force compared to the US, that is nothing to brag about. Its like Mike Tyson beating a Kid, and all those people who gave the thumbs up.

  • @brendonnz1964 it's true... It's scary to think that the kid's only fighting back because he thinks eventually his religion is going to rule the world though...

  • AH-64 pilots train at Ft. Rucker, Alabama, about thirty minutes from home for me. I take great pride in my state's contribution to what makes the USA such a fearsome foe.

  • @AlabamaSoldier Around my area there is an airforce base about 30 min away from me and the apache helicopters will fly along the shore line and cut across over my house. It's pretty cool to see. One was low enough one day when I was outside you could actually see the pilots and out of respect I waved to them. What was cool is that they turned around and did a circle around my place, hovered for a second and waved good bye. Really awesome stuff I wish I had my camera

  • @FireFighter8865 Awesome story. All that fly over my house are Chinooks. They're so low that the house vibrates.

  • @FireFighter8865 This is why helicopters are better than jets... XD

  • personaly, i've watched the Awsome AH-64's in Real battle above my head! an RBG Rocket from a terrorst hit it's buttom in Direct hit, but that wan's enough to stop the Apache to return and Bern them and leave them Dead body's!... like a shark...just don it's lunch!

that was in real, and i love even the AH-64's Sound!

  • BOOM is fricken right. "Kamov Black Shark" my ass. More like "Black Shit" Down with all commies!

  • If communists to you have hit an ass, tell it to communists!

For me personally "Kamov Black Shark" and «AH-64 Apache» this beautiful art!

    Art worthy respect!

  • ahahahaha, good post migkiller001...

  • That sounds retarded-what I said-but it gets the point across.

  • @migkiller001 More like "Oh Shit!"

  • silent kill , technology is over , fool , ah-64 is not visible , only death, I care Death ,try me

  • BOOM!

    What was that?

Your sorry ASS you being blown up REAL GOOD you kommie bastard, that's what.

  • this owns
