Hmm....maybe not a scam to get you to buy them but a top secret scientific experiment to see people's reactions and how quickly they would go back to Dunkin' Donuts and buy themselves a dozen donuts. I always did think that donuts had crack in them, because although they have sugar in it which is a drug, I don't get that same craving for them as I do with something like a candy bar.
