You will be lucky to make 350rwhp. The LS1 is underrated, mine makes 355rwhp with bolt ons. The LS1 responds better to nitrous the the modular motor. That white Cobra did not respond too well to nitrous. It had weak numbers.

some of this is correct but some of it is bias and not true 4 valves can make 350 to the wheels without lifting the valve covers and 3 valves are not far behind my 3 valve makes similar numbers as your car does sae with bolt ons and baby cams... full bolt ons and a bigger cam i could see 375-395 range ls1s are awesome engines but to many ppl down mod motors when they know nothing about them

I have yet to see it. There was a heads and cams package that was being worked on to make 400hp but it was very doubtful. I'm sure it's possible with very aggressive cams, but there goes your drivebility. Go extreme on an LS1 and you will see 500+rwhp. It's been done before. And most heads and cam packages i've seen hit 440+rwhp. Some less depending on the set up. All motor, there is no replacement for displacement. The 4.6 will lose every time.v

Go on Svtsnake (dot) com and search "nazman" I just looked it up myself, I was actually wrong he runs 9.88 @ 143 on a little juice, 10.79 @ 128 on ALL MOTOR 4 Valve 4.6.

As for Al papitto: (AKA Boss330) His name speaks for itself in the ford community, 9.8's @ 138, all motor 5.4 32 valve out of a navigator, shifting.

Its always going to be cheaper to build a NA chevy motor, but to think that a modular CAN"T is just plain ignorant.

It seems like the Cobra is stock. Compare to the Camaro, The Cobra sounds quiet. I would imagine that a Cobra with those parts into it would make the Cobra sound a lot more aggressive. Stock Cobra vs Bolt on Camaro SS is my guess on this one. Still pretty nice cars regardless.
