@Grimm124 True on the first part it was because of Pearl Habor but we still fought in France, Britian etc. We used Atom Bombs not nuclear, they surrendered 2 days after we bombed them so it was't before, if we had bombed them after they surrendered it would have started alot of chaos and the United Nations would have never been formed. @Zouloux2008 At that point, Germany was already fighting on two fronts. Alot of the Italian military got pwned so the African theater was relying mostly on the Afrika Korps to drive to the middle east and the suez canal(which was stopped in '42, a year before the Russian counteradvance began).

And then one could go simply to the fact that attrition would take its toll on the Germans, Italians, and Japanese which is why '43 is the high tide of the Axis and D-Day was the beginning of the end

2. As an American, I can say that the Soviets would have eventually beaten the Nazis regardless. They were slowly gaining technology that could compete with the Nazis later in the war, since Germany's last big chunk they took from the Soviets was in '42 and then they began being pushed back
