  • Great playing. But you messed up the Jongo part. I hope you don't mix flamenco tapau with african rhythm

  • ta robando silvinhu....toca jongo. cade a simcopa....

  • this piece really takes the listener on a trip, an incredible tune and a wonderful player

  • Wow, this was probably the cleanest and best interpretation on youtube, even more clean than Bellinati's... UNTIL... the percusion part, this is a brazilian dance, an african dance, and you blew it, that is the most important part, the jongo rhythm, also the rasgueados was a brutality, makes me think of spanish conquistadores in africa. . . anyway, still the cleanest and better interpretation of it, so I still can congratulate you, but please carefull on the percusion

  • @jamzai lol. i was thinking the same thing. He was doing flamenco compas with muted rasgeos and triplets. it sounded awesome though

  • this guy used to be taught by the same guitar teacher that i am thaught by now

  • Nice playing!! by the way do you know where I can get the score or this song?? somehow online?

  • amazing, you really got me into it

  • Great!

  • I think I'ld have to invest 3 years of hard working into this if I was playing it several hgours a day.

    respect.

  • HOLY CRAP!!

I saw the Gregoryan brothers play it live at Byron Bay and it was amazing there as well.

I want to play this for my HSC

    5/5

  • Hahaha, what year you in? cos im playing it for my HSC next year...and yes the Gregoryan bros version

  • Simply great. What guitar does Silviu play?

  • I play a Walter now and I love it. in this video I'm playing a Jose Oribe.

  • Absolutely brilliant! Bravo! This is the best version of 'Jongo' that I have ever heard.

  • Very good... but what about the organ behind you!!!

  • Great playing... very very well recorded...

  • what is MTSU? What a beautifully played piece. Thank you.

  • MTSU - Middle Tennessee State University

    (isn't your Google working?)

  • Great. And one of my favorite pieces. You add your own (slightly flamenco) effects in the precusive section.

  • Muito bom!

  • Very nice, Silviu! It´s a hard piece and you

are abive all the tecnical difficultys.

It sounds clear, solid and light.

    great!

  • Man, you are good!!

  • PERFEITO!!!

  • excelent performance!!!!

    bravísimo!!!

  • Silviu Ciulei si Paulo Bellinati. Mmmm....good combination :) Sa canti la fel de frumos si in continuare!

  • Yeah! Looking forward to your May 4 performance at East Brentwood Presbyterian Church.

  • beautiful

  • bravos

  • wow. that is freaking great.

  • I've heard the instructor there can play some mad Bach. I live in Smyrna now and i'm hoping to go to MTSU.

  • Foarte frumos, bafta in continuare

  • Awesome playing man!! I love this piece and you play it great!

  • Great sound! Great playing! What kind of guitar is that???

  • The guitar is MTSU's Oribe Calidad Supreme. The MTSU guitar program owns 3 concert guitars for use by students - primarily for concerts and competitions. Silviu played this piece even better last Monday in concert, this was just a practice run through.

  • frumos!!! felicitari si mult succes in continuare.
