wow do you know anything about him at all? first of all he was a registered democrat and treated every politician that he interviewed with the same respect, he was probably the most down to earth journalist that there ever was. And honestly the last thing i think anyone is worrying about right now is the issue of illegal aliens.

Russert was what we need more of in this country. He didn't bitch or moan, and did his job to the highest level possible and with the passion that is so lacking today. the sign in his office couldn't be more appropo:
