I need your help please. Just before Christmas i uploaded pictures on to my macbook pro and now i can't find them anywhere. I know they're are in my computer because i've seen them before. Please help. I've been going crazy looking for them.
Great tutorial. Only problem I had with it was I could not see the splitting events and Merging event buttons on your video. All in all it was very helpful I was dragging photos the the left title bar and dropping them. I also was creating a new album each time. This information will really speed up my editing.
I just started using iPhoto to organize over two thousands of photo stored on my memory stick, to start, I copied all the fles to my home/pictures folder and had iPhoto import them all, I discovered that I got a lot of duplicated files, I mean, I have those photos for over 2 years now, and was constantly backing up them and probably generated some automated duplicates (with _2 and the end of the file name).
How can I safely remove permanently the duplicates without messing up my library?
@jawofthedog they are stored in your Homefolder/Pictures/iPhoto Library. But you're best not to go rooting around in there. If you want a picture highlight it in iPhoto then choose File/Export
