  • Awesome, were you going 120K?

  • how did you speed it up like that?

  • @thesimpsonfan270 I used Corel VideoStudio, although most other video editors should be able to do it.

  • thank you very much for this beautiful movie ,this reminds me of my annual Ottawa

    Embrun holiday

  • dam good vid with dam good driving music... :)

    liked & saved

  • @MrBuckwilliam Thanks!

  • good memories

  • lol @ 2:49...Cop blowing by!

  • @captairborne yup, to a nearby Timmies to get some doughnuts

  • That person at 5:21 is an all too common example of what you see on major highways. Whenever I'm in the Ottawa area I always drive around, I like that part of Ontario.

  • I did the drive from Toronto to Ottawa twice last year.

Love Ottawa but the drive gets boring.

  • Cool vid! I drove from Ottawa to TO and back many times..recognized many landmarks! Thx for posying.

  • Awesome ride. Enjoyed the soundtrack as well!

Next time I'm in Canada, I *will* rent a car because I *so* want to "clinch" the freeways of "The Great White North".

  • most boreing drive in the world eh? lol

  • 5:21 ... Holy shit... dangerous...

This is the fucking stupidity I have to deal with everyday on the 417 retarded drivers like Mohamed who cant seem to fucking figure out that the normal driving lane is the middle, the slower traffic keep right, and the dumbass people that contantly drive in the left lane on the highway the city and the parkway and there specialty is to cut fucking drivers off as soon as you go left to pass theres a fucking Ontario plate that hops ahead of u all the time its like clockwork

  • I live in Ottawa and I drive to Pennsylvania every year. On my way home, I always find the 416 to be the longest part of the journey. It feels like you're on an endless road to nowhere. I always expect Ottawa to be around the next corner, but there's just more road.

For a camera mount, you might try duct tape.

  • @lemonrind Thanks :) This video was made a long time ago. I actually now use velcro strips as a camera mount, and it works quite well (my last few videos in Canada were made that way). I will soon start making new videos with my new HD camera, so stay tuned :)

  • u live in that junk?

  • good video.. i love driving alot but for some reason the 416 just drags on

  • Thank you very much for bringing back the memories Kot1234.

  • anybody else see the car at 5:22 cut from the far left lane to get on the off ramp lol, gotta meet the person who gave them a drivers license lol

  • I love Canada! I lived in Ottawa from 2000-2007. Thanks for bringing back the memories Kot1234

  • yes this is the way he took the kemptville exit which is the shorter way but u can also take a Smiths Falls exit just east of Kingston I believe

  • So this is the way to Ottawa?

Just curious because I never been to our nation's capital yet...even though I was born in Canada.

But someday, hopefully I can :)

  • will there be more vids on the way?

  • Yes hopefully, although not as many during the winter. I have posted a few after this one though.

  • brings back a lot of memories used to travel that stretch all the time great work man thank you !

  • Thanks.

  • what software did you use to speed up AND SAVE the playback on your video?

  • I used Ulead VideoStudio to speed up the video. To encode it and combine it with audio I usually use virtualdub.

  • Road to Hell. hmmmm hell meaning ottawa?

  • Hehe, I just like this song, nothing meant by it :) Actually I liked Ottawa, it's a nice city. Thanks for watching.

  • i was just messin with ya.

  • What's up with that yoyo at 5:24 cutting you off at that exit?

  • Yeah, the guy missed an exit and cut across 3 lanes :)

  • gold camry can only mean one thing. asian (or possibly an old guy)

  • Yeah.. those traffic lights are odd, aren't they! It's interesting that you have difference across provinces. In Oz, most road things, while still controlled by the States, are standard across the whole country.

Was that a copper at 2:55 screaming past?

  • Yep :) Was definitely going way above the speed limit, while everyone slowed down at first :)
