  • @Nishantman1983 Lev. 20:1-27 The laws in this chapter are similar to those in chapter 18 except that here the penalties for disobedience are attached to the laws forbidding Molech worship, pagan religious practices, and sexual offenses. However, such strange sexual relations etc... are NOT to be handle in this manner in the New Testament of the Bible. A call to REPENTANCE is to be spoken before the Final Judgement Day of the LORD.

  • @Shalom277 Notice that there's no prohibition against anal sex between a man and a woman, but any sex between 2 men is punishable by death. Please explain that to me.

  • @Nishantman1983 please read this portion of scripture, Leviticus 20:10 "And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death." In Christ no one can be stoned to death. Example, the woman who was caught in adultery, the legalistic Pharisees wanted to stone her to death, but Jesus said if anyone is here without sin cast the first stone, no one did. :)

  • @Shalom277 That doesn't explain why God, before Christ, wanted death for homosexuals engaging in anal sex but not for heterosexuals engaging in anal sex.

  • Jesus' death is a show of perfect love. John 15:13 "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends." His death was not atonement for the world's sins.

  • @KayBeeEee1983 John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Kay, God the Father GAVE His only begotten Son to atone for the worlds sins. The question is, will you be one of the "Whosoever" that will believe Yeshua (Jesus) as the Christ and believe in Him as your ONLY personal Redeemer and Savior of your soul. I can prove from Gen.to Rev. that His death atones for ALL. :)

  • @Shalom277 I can prove that God didn't give his only begotten Son to atone for the worlds sins. You don't need blood/death to forgive someone who hurts you, so why does God need it? Jewish sin offerings were for UNINTENTIONAL sins because there were 600+ of them and the average peasant had almost no idea what was a sin. Intentional sins weren't forgiven by YHWH at all, that's why he prescribes the death penalty for most of them.

  • @KayBeeEee1983 The fall of humankind through Adam and Eve required for a Savior to come and atone everyone's sin. Through Jesus Christ blood atonement, He reconciled all, so that we can be restored back to our original state with God the Father. So regardless if you're a as you say, "peasant" or not, all of humankind needed a blood atonement for their sins. Respectful to you, your understanding of the blood atone of Christ isn't accurate.

  • @Shalom277 I completely understand substitutionary atonement. I just think it's from the devil. There's nothing more unjust and evil than punishing a sentient being for a crime they didn't commit. I think it was put there by the devil to get people to stop feeling guilty for sinning, so they will be more likely to sin again in the future. Jesus' sacrifice for atonement distracts people from the true significance of his death: He accepted crucifixion to save his earthly friends from the same fate

  • @KayBeeEee1983 Kay, I see your heart and it's beautiful. But, if the devil knew then what he knows now what the blood atonement of Christ did for all humankind, the enemy of our souls would have never deceive Judas Iscariot to sell Jesus for money. Respectfully, I disagree that Christ blood distracts people, but rather with a sound and honest understanding of the atonement, you'll rejoice that the law which condemn us to hell no longer does. :)

  • @Shalom277 The belief that God needs blood to forgive us is insane! Humans can forgive the people they love without having to shed blood, but God somehow can't?

Focusing on the soul-saving property of Jesus' death distracts us from the true way our souls are saved: living as Jesus did. His death was just the final righteous act of his life.

  • @KayBeeEee1983 Kay, your rationalization is humanistic which is beautiful. But, my understanding, and revelation of Christ Jesus atonement is spiritual and inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT of YAHWEH. Furthermore, when you have a basic understanding of "the blood" for example, Leviticus 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul."

  • @KayBeeEee1983 so then you will begin to understand without blood atonement, eternal life could not be restored to ALL. Jesus Christ blood atonement was the final sacrifice for all in the world. Animal blood atonement is no longer needed. Now what is required is, will you believe that His BLOOD can cleanse you from all your sins. That is a personal decision. I could only tell you the truth by the Spirit of the LORD.

  • @Shalom277 The bible was written by humans. Putting trust in the bible isn't putting trust in God, it's really putting trust in humans. Specifically, totally anonymous strangers.

  • @KayBeeEee1983 Kay, I'm happy to hear you have that understanding that the Bible was written by humans, and not animals or strange aliens. However, not every word was written by humans, for example, Exodus 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God. I'm pretty sure you use books to refer to that was written by humans and believe what's said. K,That viewpoint is weak. :)

  • @Shalom277 A human wrote Exodus 31:18. You're putting your trust in humans, not God.

  • @KayBeeEee1983 You missed the point, the TEN COMMANDMENTS were written with the figure of God, and later transfered to scrolls. Kay, The Holy Bible was proven archeologically, historically, and with eye witnesses. These were proven apart from the writings of Holy Bible. Furthermore, in recent times, there are more evidences that are coming out to prove the Holy Scripture to be authentic. As I said before, it's a personal decision to believe. No one can force you to do that. :)

  • @Shalom277 No intelligent person trusts any writing that doesn't have citations and cross references. Indeed, no one should because humans have a tendency to lie and exaggerate, especially if they're writing anonymously and, therefore, aren't held accountable for their misinformation.

"The Holy Bible was proven archeologically, historically, and with eye witnesses."

That's completely false. Creation, Noah's flood, Joshua's conquest, United Monarchy under David/Solomon have all been disproved.

  • @Shalom277 Lev 20:13 "If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death;"

Lev 25:44-46 "you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be your property. You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever."

  • @Nishantman1983 Lev 25:39-55 God provided for the poor who had to sell themselves as indentured servants. However, slavery was only a temporary condition, and the law prohibited harsh treatment and provided for release in the Year of Jubilee. Proslavery movements in recent history have misused passages in Leviticus by ignoring their provisions and limitations.

  • @Shalom277 Have you even read Lev 25:39-55? The Jubilee year only applied to Israelite slaves. Foreign slaves were slaves for life. Lev 25:46 "You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever." Slave owners could also beat slaves as hard as they wanted as long as they didn't die immediately. Ex 21:20-21

  • @Nishantman1983 The Hebrew and Greek words for slave are usually rendered simply "servant," "bondman," or "bondservant." Slavery as it existed under the Mosaic law has no modern parallel. That law did not originate but only regulated the already existing custom of slavery. The gospel in its spirit and genius is hostile to slavery in every form, which under its influence is gradually disappearing from among men.

  • @Shalom277 The word they use is irrelevant. The bible said they could own people as PROPERTY and for LIFE. "A rose by any other name....etc."

  • @Shalom277 Deut 20:16-17 In those towns that the LORD your God is giving you as a special possession, destroy every living thing. You must completely destroy the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, just as the LORD your God has commanded you.

Ezekiel 9:5-6 I heard the LORD say to the other men, “Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity! Kill them all—old and young, girls and women and little children.

  • @Shalom277 1 Samuel 15:3 "go and completely destroy the entire Amalekite nation—men, women, children, babies"

Malachi 2:3 "I will smear on your faces the dung from your festival sacrifices"

Exodus 32:26-29 Then Moses told the Levites, “Today you have ordained yourselves for the service of the LORD, for you obeyed him even though it meant killing your own sons and brothers. Today you have earned a blessing.”

Psalm 137:9 Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.

  • @Shalom277 Deuteronomy 22:28-29 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman

2 Samuel 12:13-14 “The LORD has taken away your sin. You are not going to die. But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for the LORD, the son born to you will die.”

Repent! You're worshiping the devil! It's plainly obvious to anyone with a working conscience.
