There's a phenomenon to all politics when you present someone with blatant evidence against their party on any particular issue: Their view does not broaden - it narrows. Many Conservative Republicans will stubbornly hold the McCain/Palin ticket, not because they have good reason to (although they may argue the contrary,) but out of spite for Liberal Democratic party. It's not about making logical choices. And yes, the Liberal Democrats would do the same if it was their backs against the wall.

I've seen nothing in Katie's interview in which she displays jealousy or any malice toward Palin. Palin is asked some very fair, straight forward questions. Rather tame questions at that, considering she is up for VP the questions should be much more aggressive. Speculating Katie's opinion of Palin is irrelevant but what opinion she may have has little to do with their comparison of "good looks." With as gently as Couric handled Palin I see pity and bafflement, not catty jealousy.

So I'll make this a complex question simply put: If humans are far too complex to be a gradual product of Selection/Evolution then they must be designed? How complex is the designer? Two problems: (1) the stock market crash was in 1929 when Herbert Hoover was President (FDR became President 4 years later in 1933), and (2) there were no televisions around at the time of the stock market crash. Televisions weren't commercially available until the late 1930s and even by 1942 there were only about 5000 total sets in operation

well you are one hundred percent correct. the shows were known as the "fireside chats" and people would sit by their radios and listen to FDR. but the thing a lot of people dont consider is if TV were available FDR might not have ever been president. he was stricken to a wheelchair. In the 30's people would never have voted for someone they knew was a cripple. it just wouldn't have happened. but yes biden was off on that point. but Palin has an IQ under former VP dan potatoes. mccain messed up
