I am a marriage and family therapist and I have seen individuals disassociate. I know that the disorder is controversial in terms of the psychological community accepting this disorder as real. When you see it, it can look like acting. I'm really not sure what I think about it. Whether it is real or not, I believe it is a coping skill for trauma.
ones inner critiques but it is clear that the professors mindset was negative, it was like a crab nitpicking whats wrong, beating himself down yet uncontrolable and he kills himself. I think that they potrayed the other self as a hallucitation but maybe this could have taken away from the point of dissociation it all so complex psychology how does one know the difference from multiple identity disorder disscociation, depression, schizophrenia, its a spectrum, like a bead on a string
